« on: July 27, 2015, 09:26:32 PM »
Will Max be in goal for Sunderland U21's?  Also possible: Liam Agnew and Duncan Watmore.  I remember him tearing us apart when he was with Altrincham.

The B-Ark / Utd v Tamworth
« on: April 05, 2015, 12:06:45 PM »
Just watched the excellent video of the Leamington v Tamworth match on 17 Jan.  This was in the period when Tamworth won 12 in a row but on the evidence of that game Leamington will be our stronger opponents.
Two goalkeeping blunders gave the game to Tamworth that day and their game plan seemed to be the very long ball up to the front men, and not much football inbetween.

Worcester's leading goalscorer Sean Geddes sent off and could miss our game on March 28th.
Fylde go top on goal difference.

Solihull 2 - North Ferriby 4

The B-Ark / A win at Hyde is what's needed now
« on: February 05, 2015, 10:10:17 PM »
3 points at Hyde on Sat would boost our slim chance of a play-off place as all 6 teams above us are playing each other, so points will be dropped.

Tamworth (3rd) v Barrow (1st)
Hednesford (4th) v Fylde (2nd)
Chorley (6th) v Guiseley (5th)

The B-Ark / Solihull Moors

Solihull on a good run recently and scoring for fun so it will be vital for us to get off to a good start.
Our league record shows if we keep it tight in the first half we have our best results.
We haven't lost if we have been winning or on level terms at half time.

The B-Ark / O/T - Energy Performance Certificates and home insulation
« on: October 15, 2014, 05:20:46 PM »
There is currently a person knocking on doors in Boston giving scare-mongering information about home insulation and Energy Performance Certificates.

In simple terms EPC's are an indication of how well a home is insulated and range from A (efficient) to G (not very efficient).  With a few exceptions, anyone selling or renting a house is required to have this EPC.

The guy I have complained about is making the false statement that you will not be able to sell your home after 2016-17 unless you have an EPC of level D or above, presumably to try to scare people into upgrading their insulation.

The B-Ark / Football Conference to allow 3G pitches from 2015-16
« on: August 03, 2014, 07:52:26 PM »
The Football Conference will allow 3G pitches in all three divisions from the start of the 2015-16 season.

Earlier this year, Conference clubs voted against a plan to permit the reintroduction of artificial surfaces, but at a meeting ahead of next season it was announced plans would go ahead.

Not sure that I am in favour but the decision has been made.  What do you think?

Fylde or Ashton, plus NPL winners Chorley.
Unfortuntely one of them won't be FC Utd of Manchester who lost 2 - 1 to Ashton (aet).

plus Chester, Hyde and ?

The B-Ark / Prediction for final positions anyone?
« on: March 05, 2014, 12:13:42 AM »
Before last weekend's games I made a prediction for every game which affects the final league placings and came up with this: -

pts
87 Telford (promoted)

83 N.Ferriby (play-offs)
81 Altrincham (play-offs)
81 Brackley (play-offs)
79 Guiseley (play-offs)

76 BUFC (and miss out on play-offs, but of course I hope I'm wrong)
75 Hednesford
72 Solihull
71 Harrogate

NB: Since these predictions, Brackley have dropped 3 points but would still make the play-offs and I wouldn't put it past them to get through.

Anyone else want to have a go?
