Don't forget - whatever the rights and wrongs - to think of our troops in Afghan and other troubled areas of the world at this festive time.

I understand what you're saying, Ken, but I didn't think their end could hold as many as they are making out.  Our end was pretty full and we also had the whole of the side of the ground.  Anyway, as I said in my original thread it doesn't really matter I just wanted to get other attendees thought on it.

The B-Ark / Yesterdays attendance
« on: April 25, 2010, 06:17:10 PM »
In the grand scale of things yesterday it doesn't really matter but the official match report stated a total attendance of 1367 with 743 visitors.  This makes the home support 624 all crammed into 1 end of the ground.  Does anyone else agree that maybe someone has got their sums wrong particularly bearing in mind Marine's other home matches this season - apart from the visit of FCUM - have only been between 218 and 404.  They must have found at least 200 odd new fans or the figures given for BUFC supporters were incorrect.

No doubt when the frost thaws it'll be waterlogged again.

Pompey Pilgrim - I can remember going in a pub near the Ilkeston ground when we played them in the FA cup back in 1997 (I think).  I reckon it was called the Bridge - it was next to the canal.  Wasn't too friendly that day though.  As we were entering the pub from the rear car park someone was exiting the pub through one of the front windows!

That was 13 years ago so hopefully things might have changed now.  Good luck might be OK Ilkeston away today.

The Argus goes on to say that no-one at the club was available for comment!

I think there could be some possible confusion here.  Some posters on the KL forum are thinking the free offer is for the match against BPA tomorrow.
