Andy,
I think the brother/cousin/uncle on Stamford's forum is sammyj. I think there's only been 2 posts from him since his triumphant announcement of "it's official - Drury to be new Boston manager".  These were to tell everyone which players his alterego would be taking with him.

I bet Droylsden can't believe their luck!  Josh Burge looked totally outclassed last season in the 4 - 0 hammering by them.  Please don't let him play this season especially when we are chasing results for a possible play off position.  I'm all for giving players a chance but I was present at this match and he just looked as though he didn't know what to do - chasing shadows all over the pitch.

If, however, he plays and we do well I will eat my words and apologise for being so wrong about him but he will have to have improved no end.

Not that I'm really interested now the game is off but can anybody translate the above into English please?

The "old feller" who was spoken to by Ponytail was not giving Semple any grief.  He was the one who was abusing Bastock as the players came off the pitch at half-time.
The 2 giving Semple grief were standing 2 places to the left of this person from where I was standing directly behind all this. The "old feller" had gone to have a word with the other 2 and that was when Ponytail and a female steward decided to get involved.  Seems I've got rid of 1 idiot who used to abuse Yates and he has been replaced by 2 idiots abusing Semple and 1 idiot abusing Bastock.

If the offending piece was a question why wasn't it followed by a question mark?  It was followed by 2 exclamation marks which I believe makes it a statement.  I'm quite chilled thank you but I'm winding a few up further daan sarf.

No it doesn't.  It says that our chairman was the one at Crawley with all the bent money.  2 of us have already tried to put them right but what needs to happen now is for the offending and erroneous post to be deleted or for someone from Bishops to state that the original poster - basil - had got his facts wrong.  When this happens it will stop the escalation of any bad feeling because all in all my visit to yesterday's match was very pleasant with a happy outcome despite all their gamemanship, timewasting etc.

No, they haven't deleted it yet but I'm still working on it.

Have another look but it connects our chairman with Crawley and bent money!

I'm very pleased to see though that cheats don't always prosper.  Our goal coming in the 6th or 7th minute of added on time it was justice on their keeper who was time wasting from the first half.  It wasn't very pretty today but at least it was a win.  I'd sooner have 3 points on the board than play pretty football and lose. I remember many years ago West Ham played nice football but never won anything and were usually perennial strugglers.

Straight question - An ugly win or a pretty loss?

Have a look on their forum to see what one of their "supporters" has posted about our Chairman.  Does something want doing about this lie?

I'm amazed you managed to get so many shots of James Walshaw not rolling about on the ground.

I've had another thought on the moaners.  Make them go to watch Grimsby, Lincoln Shitty or Gainsborough every week.  That'll really give them something to moan about!

In reply to Wismo & Lonegunman the "some bloke" in front of the 2 dickheads was me.  Too right I'd had enough of them.  I appreciate that everyone pays their money and everyone has a right to voice an opinion but this was just too much.  The first target was Sleath but soon afterwards the moaners found a new target - Jamie Yates.  This opinion voicing was just constant barracking of Jamie Yates - even when he was nowhere near the ball in play.  Admittedly I've seen him have better games but lets remember who put the cross over for the first goal and who won the penalty (no comment from me as to whether it was a pen or not - but we'll have it anyway!).

Everyone gets frustrated when things don't always go as planned but I don't think shouting abuse at a particular player for 90 minutes really does much to improve his performance does it?  One of these moaners seems to have something to say at most home games  - none of it very constructive - but fortunately I can't recall seeing his mate before.  Perhaps neither of them will bother attending again although I won't hold my breath!  Maybe the club could have a special moaning enclosure so all the barrackers could stand together and let the proper supporters take the p*ss out of them all match.

The comments about some of the teams best performances being away from home rings very true.  If this barracking is indicative of some of the home support then I'm sure the players prefer being away.  No offence to the vast majority of the home supporters, many of whom can't travel away for whatever reason - cost, work commitments etc, but the away following does usually tend to be made up of people who are committed to supporting not barracking - apart from the incident at Droylsden which although being at the game I did not witness.

As I said earlier everyone is entitled their opinion and most games I leave the ground having a whinge about something which has happened during the course of the match - usually the officials - but I don't think after the game this intrudes on others enjoyment of the match in progress.

This is what happened on Saturday and what made me so annoyed.  As Wismo said why do people like this bother wasting their money if everything is so wrong with the team ALL the time.

Anyway we didn't lose did we?

Ken, I thought you could have got at least 1 shot of James Walshaw rolling about on the ground - he was down enough times!
