Pick the bones out of that?

I think Bradford play Monday so we'll know if it is in our hands for second when we play next.

Are our kit manufacturer in trouble? There has been quite a recent history of businesses trying to crack the market, getting a foothold and then failing.

I see Cuddles the monkey has produced some priceless quotes in the latest BBC Blog...

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/simonaustin/2010/03/saving_notts_county.html

Quote from: Cuddles the Monkey
We expected it to be bad, but probably not this bad

Quote from: Britains third brainiest footballer
We've found some things that could lead to prosecution. I think we've got a moral obligation to get the police involved.

Quote from: the twat that nearly signed the papers that ended us
I know the lower leagues very well and things just didn't stack up. I always had a deep suspicion that it would all end in tears.

Moral obligation  :o

The B-Ark / Tinpot Cup final...
« on: March 13, 2010, 10:59:17 PM »
...If we're still in the title race, send the ressies please (or a local pub team signed up for the day) and leave our first team with their knee caps intact for the run in.

They look up for it on there, I for one am not cos you run a risk of injury everytime you send 11 out to face that farce.

The B-Ark / Tomorrows Games...
« on: March 05, 2010, 06:16:07 PM »
...fast approaching the permutations and combinations time of the season where results else where start to matter.

Buxton      vs      FC United of Manchester
 Durham City   vs      Boston United
 Frickley Athletic   vs      Matlock Town
 Marine      vs      Hucknall Town
 Nantwich Town   vs      Guiseley
North Ferriby United   vs   Kendal Town
Retford United      vs   Bradford Park Avenue

Stocksbridge Park Steels   vs   Ashton United
 Whitby Town      vs   Burscough
 Worksop Town      vs   Ossett Town

Some games that could help us along in that lot.  If we're still looking at the top rather than playoffs we've got to be looking at a Retford win.

The B-Ark / Matlock Fans

What a bunch of gloating, smalltime, ignorant self gratifiers.  No need for all that shit as you leave the ground by the same exit.  If you give it big guns as the two sets of fans meet then expect those that are disappointed to react.  ;D

Good atmosphere ruined by a few fans that have spent too long at altitude and with nothing but Black Sheep for company  ;)

The B-Ark / Football Manager 2010...
« on: November 19, 2009, 06:43:42 PM »
...I'm almost cringing at someone my age putting this on here and the can of worms it might open.

But I'd quite like a crack at it again having last player Championship manager in something like 2002 for nearly relationship wrecking hours on a laptop that almost had 'Boston United' etched in the screen from the hours on the Boston Squad page.

I'm on a Mac now and Emlyn Hughes International soccer is no longer available, so does anyone have experience on whether they bother to test the mac version and whether it runs ok.  Also as we are now tinpot and have dropped off the scale, can I bring Premiership football to Lincolnshire in the game or do I have to start as someone else and wait for the Phoenix to rise back to a level in the game?

So then younger generation, it's over to you (no techie speak or text speak otherwise you'll lose this old timer ;D.)

The B-Ark / Been Away for the weekend...
« on: September 20, 2009, 09:41:55 PM »
....going away is the new home  ;D

Went to watch t'other Pilgrims at Newcastle (miserable lot that lot, always expect to win as they should be in the Premier League, moan about every missed pass even though they dicked Plymouth) and was entertained throughout.

Did I miss us capitulating ala Nantwich or something? :-\
