Think Wardy will probably be the one to go out on Loan. After Lister replacing Watt on Saturday I get the impression Wardy is out of favour...

Think. Might have broken the forum! Sorry Ken..... Joys of using a mobile!

I think you'll find that Pilgrims' Patter has broken your mobile.  ;D

Another great set of photos. I must get myself one of those big white Canon lenses.

My set is here - nothing near your standard, but a couple of half decent shots:

I've bunged a few on my website as well: http://www.bufc.drfox.org.uk/gainsboroughtrinity020213.html

Shame about the lost memory card at Alty - they're quite expensive things to lose, never mind the lost photos.

Thanks Ken. You can also try my 70-200 one game. As my second camera is pretty much dead I don't tend to use it at the moment! The memory card is just one of them things.... Started using SD cards now. Got a top end one for under 20 quid, so much faster!

Nice to see your photos again, top stuff!

Love the one with the bloke waving his money about, quality pictures shippy!

This photo has gone down well, one of my faves as well :)

Here are a few highlights from the game.

1. Ben Milnes fires Boston into a 1 - 0 lead.

2. Milnes Celebrates.

3. Fans share their delight with the team.

4. Danny Hone fires past Dan Haystead to make the game 1 - 1

4. Gainsborough Celebrate

5. Back to haunt Boston - Jamie Yates celebrates his goal.

6. And finally..... Money, Money, Money.....

All 86 photographs can be found at:- http://www.davidshipman.co.uk/gainsborough-trinity-boston-united/ .

Safe to say this game went a but better than the game at Altrincham for me as I lost the memory card with all the photos on! Probably not a bad thing though given the score!

As always your comments are appreciate.

Cheers

David

Nice pics' Shippy, as we've come to expect. Out of interest, did you get to the Olympics?

Nope ...... Got my sights set on Brazil in 2016 though!

Marks out of Ten. as I saw it !!!.

Newstead = 6
Jellyman  = 6
Ward       = 5
Stainfield = 6
Marshall   = 7
Fairclough= 5
Milnes      = 5
Ross        = 5
SW Daly   =5
Jones       = 6
Newsham = 6
sub Smith= 6

Jason Lee  = 5 Lack of subs, lack of passion shown on the touchline, might as well have a cardboard cut-out of Tommy Taylor, or let the fitness coach do the job.
Referee  = 6

I agree with the rest of the post, just not the bit about Jason Lee being a cardboard cut out. I tend to sit (on the pitch) a few yards away from him and can hear everything. I can assure you he is not cardboard cut out after hearing the comments he was making to their overweight no 10!

Didnt really see the challenge that led to SWD being sent off but it was clear that their players made a meal of it. I am sick of seeing this kind of theatrics in football now to be honest.

With regards to the subs  - I think JL made the right choices in bring Dyer-Stewart and Sanders on. Lets face it, when we were down to 9 men he probably knew we were going to lose, so throwing on two young players who are hungry to make an impact on the first team was the right choice to be honest. Sanders was unlucky not to score but will have been a great experience for him to play none the less.

Would be a VERY useful signing - Saw him play a few times for forest and looked like he had a good career in front of him .

I'd prefer it if names/photos are kept under wraps until player are under our wraps. And I've no idea

I can assure you I tried my best - I have not put a whole load up due to them having much much clearer views of trialists!
