Presumably if we draw any lower league team at home we could just switch the tie to their home ground and get some revenue from 50% of the gate?

In fact we should probably switch any home draw if allowed even against a team from our own level - there's no point on paying rent at the Northolme to pay a home game if there are no fans there - we might as well play at Alfreton or wherever?

Kalern Thomas played for Coalville Town against Boston Town in the FA Cup this afternoon. Coalville's assistant manager is Danny Davidson.

Time for me to resurrect this thread.
This season we are away to West Bridgford in the 1st qualifying round of the Youth Cup. Match to be played w/c 21st September... hopefully with fans?

Boston Town, Peterborough or Lincoln for me
Peterborough as it's a direct train to Birmingham!
Lincoln is the most logical choice but only of we can't play in Boston
Would it be cheaper to find improvements to Tattershall Rd to get it up to standard and rent it as opposed to probably a higher rent at posh or Lincoln?

It might be cheaper to improve Tattershall Road but there’s surely no chance of getting it done in time?It will almost certainly be Grantham or Lincoln and after 6 months or more with no football we’ll be more than happy to watch anything anywhere.

"All football below National League to end" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52052351
All results expunged - no promotion or relegation - which presumably implies no relegation from our league?

Ryan Cresswell and Jake Hall have joined Romford along with pretty much every other out of work footballer.

Having had a quick look through Ken’s site I don’t think we have ever played a home game on 29th Feb. I can find a few away games but no home ones. Unless I’ve missed one somewhere?

Bodge. First to post when we lose.....

Seriously, did OK. Still not convinced we can open up defences at our own level though. Good opportunity to prove me wrong next week. Is the next round regionalised?

TEP
yes to your last question, bostonutdstats on Twitter has listed potential opponents, we are in  the central pot. Kings Lynn or Alfreton (replay pending) would seem to be the nearest possibility, assuming that Peterborough Sports are in the southern pot (they beat Hemel Hempstead)

I reckon we could end up playing anyone in the North as well. Peterborough Sports ended up losing to Chorley after beating us last year. Town played Hyde at home the season before.

The FA Youth Cup was drawn today.
We have a bye in the Preliminary Round.

1st round qualifying is away to Long Eaton United or Borrowash Victoria in the w/c September 16th.

If you've not been before its almost always a very entertaining and cheap evening out.

For those that are interested Long Eaton beat Borrowash 4-1 last night.

Some would say so Artemis. He won nothing and had many who didn't like him. Personally I thought he did well and I got on OK with him though.

Three top 6 finishes ins 3 consecutive season certainly the best managerial record under Chestnuts .     How far back do we have go to beat it .?

Unfortunately we probably have to go to the era/error of the fat, Scottish cheat to find the most recent one.

The only manager to get us relegated on the pitch in the last 25 years?  He doesn't get my vote.
