You are right Pete, it does appear as this guy has driven the club to even lower depths than the previous owner. I think it is almost time to offer their supporters a proper club to support in the county with subsidised travel, it could just work and boost our attendances however, if you think I am being daft forget it. I thought the idea was that they support the first team and aren't in any set league, they just play ad-hoc fixtures throughout the year where the team will be a mix of U23s, academy and maybe some first team.
It seems a little odd but Joe says in the video it's new and adaptable.
Thank you for that it certainly clears up a few of my doubts about the situation which is what I was seeking. How impressive is Joe as a comunicator clearly a name for the future in coaching and management.

Can anyone explain what the under23s team is all about? This is a genuine request as they don't seem to play any games, and when I hear the management team say we have a small first team squad it appears that although this is a so called route through to the first team they are not considered a part of the first team squad. Obviously there is a financial cost and I wonder if this could be better spent on strengthening the first team squad.
This is not meant to be devisive or controversial and I do want to see the youngsters having the chance to progress their careers, I am just hoping somebody can clarify where all this fits into the club progressing on the field. UTP

Had to the stream today, what a waste of £9.50 We are in a false position in the league when we perform so abysmally agaist a patched up side. No threat up front and desperate for a left back. The chairman needs to get out the cheque book or it will be yet another year trying to survive in this league, or is it the case that survival will surfice?. Get in some loan players but for goodness sake make sure they are better than the lad from Birmingham. The fans deserve better than this but if it continues they will vote with their feet in fact we will be lucky if 4 or 500 turn up on Saturday. My glass is usually half full but i have just knocked it over. UTP.

Also streaming and I have to say that with a patched up team it was an excellent point. Have serious doubts about the nearside linesman but thought the young ref did well. Zac outstanding again and all in all a good performance all round . UTP.

Been laid low with a horrible virus all week but got out of bed and made the effort. For 89 minutes I was wishing I had stayed at home then Wham Bam Thankyou Mam. How on earth did the lads find the legs to do that because they were good goals to boot? I have been a critic of Gyasi but was pleased to see him finish a great move. I am sure the Blyth players and staff will be having nightmares about how they managed to lose that but I thought their manager made a grave error taking of their most dangerous player to settle for a one nil. Still think we need a couple of signings but well done lads lets go and do the business on Tuesday. UTP.

Could and should have had a draw at least. After Saturdays great win some of the the lads were just not on it and though I don't like singling anyone out for citicism I have to say Gyasi is a liability there has to be better choices in the youth team never mind the under 23s. However on to Saturday and hopefully back to the home form shown recently as apart from the result we had another cracking away day on Micks party coach. UTP
