Obviously the chairmans Christmas present for his little lad. Levelling the pitch, how will they do that drop the rest of the pitch 20 feet to make it level with the bottom corner? Another dreamer with an impossible dream for a ground with no parking.

A scrappy win but we are in the draw on Monday. Jelly did play well but what has Bazza to do to get MOM.

It appears we would not have got as much without agreeing to FA and Grimsby demand to keep it secret.
I feel that the chairman must have got the best deal possible and agree with DC that it is his right to keep the fee under wraps. At the recent forum Neil spelled out the clubs position regarding falling short of the break even target this season so if this has helped that position all well and good. One thing is for sure David and Neil will not be pocketing the money so lets leave it at that.

I happened to be stood right where the fighting or should I say the assaults by a gang of Gainsborough 40 year old tossers took place. I don't blame the stewards as they were clearly just a few blokes that get to see the game for free and 20 quid in their pocket for wearing a day- glow jacket, they were clueless and scared. This after great banter in the club before the game where an elderly supporter said that the last time they saw a policeman in the ground he was looking for his bicycle clips.
The powers that be at Gainsborough are obviously unprofessional and should be brought to task, had it happened at Boston we would probably have been demoted a couple of divisions.
Anyway, what a great performance by the boys and how young Ben Milnes is developing his midfield role although everyone put in a great shift, great stuff lads. Oh how desperate Clarke looked, after giving us fans the come on after scoring his goal he looked as though he was shrinking as we went on to play them off the park

Terrible thing to happen to anyone and fully understand the reaction of Bob I would probably feel the same.
Adam you are a local lad now at university studying I believe economics. I think you are being rather immature by writing your posts as though you are speaking from a position of authority, I believe you are a first year student and I understand that everything is exciting, but may I respectfully suggest you buckle down to your studies, after all we need good economists to take over from the present bunch who have put the country in the mire. Economics are enough for you so stick at it and leave politics and Diplomacy alone until you attend the university of life for a few years.

Have to agree with everyone about the great game, It really put a smile back on the faces of all Pilgrim supporters. Congratulations to Steve and Mickey on getting these lads playing as a team.
Last week I suggested that Jason and Canners should be on the touch line and not the pitch. If they have to play then I suggest that Steve and Mickey run the show from the dug out, they clearly know how to get a team giving everything for each other which allows them to get the better of some lads with real class in the opposition teams. Great stuff everyone concerned with the lads.

This performance has now convinced me that in future I will not bother putting myself out doing 200 mile round trips to watch a team who seem to have no plan "B" when the hoof ball to Jason fails to work. I know many fans will say that Jason is the best option we have up front but I disagree, as I am sure some of our players aim every ball forward at him out of fear of loosing their places. Sorry but it just does not work having both managers on the pitch.
Of course I will be at York street for every home game and I will encourage the lads as I did today but things on the pitch do need sorting out.

What a great fans forum. I had questions to ask particularly about how Neils 5 year plan for Boston United becoming a total community club was progressing. Did not need to ask them as he absolutely stunned me and I am sure everyone else present with a presentation that showed we are probably one of the top clubs in the country when it comes to community involvement (and not just in non-league) Obviously this brilliant work will help when we have to seek grants for a new ground, as David said last night potential investors and sponsors are also stunned when the community work is shown and explained to them and it has already lead to interest in the future.
When I asked Lee the question of why we performed better away from home he also mentioned the lack of pressure on young players, whereas at home they feel the pressure of playing in front of a big crowd "PARTICULARLY WHEN ELEMENTS OF THAT CROWD HAVE A GO AT THEM." So I agree with others on here lets encourage the lads if they make an error not slag them off and I for one will let those moaners know what I think when I here them.
So there is still a long way to go before our club is where it wants to be but with David and Neil at the helm if we all do all we can to help them we will get there.
