Stainfield had a good game and Ward had a shocker that's all that needs saying. It happens. Both lads were playing Lincs league last year give them a chance, I for one want to see keen young lads being brought through, everybody is quick to moan when a 30 odd year old is brought in complaining "This is not the future".
I am still completely baffled why Spence was subbed, He had just laid on the ball for Ross to score the goal of the season and was terrifying their defence. It appeared that the managers thought a draw was okay otherwise it should have been Newsham off as he missed two sitters, a pathetically tame header and an attempted lob over a 7ft goalkeeper from 2 yards. We would and should have gone on to win the game, but I am afraid that one shocking substitution put a question mark against the managers judgement and cost us dearly.

Agree it was a cracking game and a point each was about right. Still think it is a big ask but not impossible, and this could be a very important point.

The whole case was summed up by Recorder Barnett with just two words for each side, ie; David Newtons evidence can be " RELIED UPON ".
Scott and Mr Fenty cast a "SEVERE CLOUD" over their evidence.
Our Chairman is the best thing that has ever happened to this club, and we the supporters, and local businesses, should respond in any way possible to assist him and Neil take us forward.

How good to see a bit of justice for our club. At long last we could be seeing the end of  the cheating legacy of you know who, and the realisation that David and Neil are now in charge of a football club that is doing everything the right way.
Fenty said that our claim for £20. 000 compensation was ridiculous and he would fight it to the end, Well this fight has cost them in excess of £21. 000 with costs, compensation, and interest. Sounds just the type of bloke you need running your football club. Advice to chairman Fenty. When a proper chairman makes a claim, it is an offer to talk and negotiate a settlement, so don't underestimate him by playing the big man and dismissing him out of hand, indeed, if you want a future in the game learn from a superior chairman.

Yes , there is no doubt the lad deserves it, well done. But I do feel the time is upon us for the club chairman to instruct the managers to get new contracts prepared and signed for the players they wish to retain for next season. This would lead the lads, knowing they are here for another season to  give everything for a play off place this season. It would also enable plans on the pitch to be put in place, to see us hit the ground running next season, and also keep the player poachers at bay.
By the way I am right in thinking Tom is sponsored by us Patterers arn't I.
