Scrappy game but two great goals the second an absolute stunner from 40/45 yards by Billy Chadwick. Another great away day with Mick Small and the great bunch of fans. The Cricketers pub in Leamington loved having us and as usual plenty supped but impecable behavoir, these away days are a real pleasure.  UTP

Yes a very good point hope Burrows is fit for Tuesday along with Jake Wright as our other attacking options are poor. We always say if the lads give their all we are happy and they now seem to be doing just that.  UTP

Thanks for your instant reply Pete, I clearly don't have your capacity to express my feelings in such a cracking way. And I agree with your comments regarding Craig I was in no way having a dig at anyone in particular it is just that that my other love in Rugby League produce something on almost a daily basis and it works wonders.  UTP

The B-Ark / COMMUNICATING WITH SUPPORTERS
« on: February 22, 2023, 04:02:16 PM »
Unless there are comments regarding match days and matters relating ther appears to be little on the clubs website to engage the interest of supporters . I find this a disappointment and feel the club needs to keep the interested with regular content to engage them and keep them enthused.
Eg:- Regular updates on injuries and illness in the squad. A quick couple of minutes interviews with players and staff on training nights, The clubs plans for the future and how fans can play a part in these.
I appreciate with most players not being local it is dificult for them to interact with the fans but with better use of social media as sugested this can be improved.
Come on! the more everyone can feel involved, engaged and valued the better for the club to move on to much better times.  UTP

Just watched their managers interview, Was he watching the same game as everyone else, "We should have been up at half time" It could easily have been four or five for Boston at half time. Have to agree with Josh if Darlington were just one point off the top going into this game it proves what a poor league this is this season, they looked poor however, taking nothing away from our lads with a performance that probably made Darlington look poor. More of this 100% committment from the boys and I for one will sleep easier.  UTP

I agree, Pete, that I don't know what should happen. Before the Kettering game I thought that things were showing signs of coming together. And the first hour or so there suggested it was, 2-0 up and defending well against hoofball and throwball tactics on a dreadful pitch. But we know what's happened since. Whatever we do, the idiots mustn't be allowed to p*ss off DN and NK after what they've done for us.

Quite right David I will defend our Board to the ends of the earth against some of the idiots on another site. Although I only got involved supporting Boston United 30 years ago I was totally involved during the club being on very edge and have real first hand knowledge of just what David and Neil did for this club, its fans, and the people of Boston. In fairness the majority of supporters have been truly magnificent and it is important we stay together and give whoever the management is our full support.  UTP
