We were always welcomed there Mick and as you say they were lovely people and it is indeed a lovely ground however, this is not the forst time this has happened, Some years ago they were the big thing in Non League football spending well beyond their means and as is usual with such clubs came crashing down and they have strggled ever since.
We also now have a lovely stadium and everything that goes with it and I am just grateful we have owners who are determined to keep the club sustainable.  UTP

He got a two year sentence and a six year ban from football grounds so he won’t be a lot of use

6 year ban as a spectator (only). He may have to wear a blindfold or a paper bag whilst sitting on the bench

We have fans banned from games for much less than his convictions, don't get me wrong  they deserved it for their stupidity at Kings Lynn, but they must feel there are double standards here.

Have no fears this is a great signing just the midfielder we need. Have a watch of Non League video about his career and his desire to play on until he is 40. Great experience and desire, I think he will be a great fit.  UTP

I can always get over a ref making a mistake but having the likes of him yesterday who was clearly incompetent is getting a little bit to common. Penalty? hard to say but a sending off never, our penalty Jake chopped down and not even a yellow, what really pees me off is that the lad Nixon can't play in our last game next week denying us the fans chance of saying thanks for the huge part the lad has played in our battle for survival, a thanks he so richly deserves. Yet again all the lads gave everything yesterday and really deserved to win the game. Just a note regarding the manager yesterday he did come over with the team and gave big waves and lonf claps of appreciation to the fans. UTP

Got criticised for making a point about the manager replacing Jake Wright with an inferior player at Buxton, the reply to my post was that if Jake had got another yellow card he would be unavailable to play against Fylde. Explain to me then why was he left on the bench until ten minutes from the end when he immediately made things happen? Was he not fit enough to play more of a part? if so then I can understand but please tell us so we do not question the managers decisions which sometimes seem poor.  UTP

Horrible little ground having to stand under a corrugated lean to shed making it so dificult to see the game and paddle through 4inches of water for a coffee or a pee. Why oh why does Cully insist on taking off our goal threat in Jake and replacing him with a player with less go in him than a butchers dog. Go a goal down almost immediately and then no goal threat from the replacement. UTP

Scrappy game but two great goals the second an absolute stunner from 40/45 yards by Billy Chadwick. Another great away day with Mick Small and the great bunch of fans. The Cricketers pub in Leamington loved having us and as usual plenty supped but impecable behavoir, these away days are a real pleasure.  UTP
