The B-Ark / Spalding humiliation
« on: December 20, 2022, 10:00:49 PM »
This almost feels like the final nail in the coffin. Well done Spalding but what a shower of tripe United have become. Am now dreading a total humiliation on Boxing Day. It now looks as though relegation is really on the cards. As we get through managers at the same rate as players will we ever find a replacement for Craig? The fans have shown so much support for the club they deserve much better than the garbage being dished out but it surely can't last much longer. The hospitality may be sold out for Boxing Day but much more of this dross and there will be a struggle to sell burgers. One way or another the chairman must take the bull by the horns or it will become a total catastrophe.  UTP

The B-Ark / Fylde

Took me until the fortieth minute to get the Radio commentary and wished I hadn't bothered. This was frankly embarrassing and totally unacceptable. Where we go from here I dread to think. Finding it quite ammusing that Boxing days game is all ticket, can only assume it's the only way to try to get a crowd in as I can't imagine non season ticket holders arriving in droves on the day. Need to get things sorted quickly or it will be a battle for survival.  UTP

The B-Ark / Brackley

I didn't go tonight for the simple reason I refuse to waste £50 watching a team who are absolutly useless. Listened to commentary and even Craig was totally peed off and "Lost for words". There must have been a reason to replace a centre forward with a full back when we are one nil down against ten men perhaps the manager will explain later. Total respect for the fans who travelled tonight you deserved much better.  UTP

Couldn't be there tonight but what a great result 4 from 4 for the new management team which we could only of dreamed of. Mick Fixter will be looking down with that big lovely smile.  UTP

The B-Ark / Scarborough
« on: August 28, 2022, 10:07:52 AM »
It was always going to be a tricky fixture regardles of where we are at the moment so with that in mind I feel there were a few more possitives yesterday. Well the result for example, if we wre winning our home games I am sure that would have been a very acceptable result away from home. There was much more intensity in our play closing down well and in all honesty restricting Scarborough to very few chances if any ( the free kick from which they scored was unstoppable) certainly we created far more than they did. Sendings off were inevitable elbows and head butting sheer stupidity.
Many know my views on some of our players so I will not mention names but will say this, Yesterday I thought they all did their best and grafted well and were the better team, please don't take this as a view that we are any way near where we should be but all I ever ask is that those on the pitch give it 100% and they did yesterday. As I say a long way to go and still some just not good enough but credit for effort yesterday.  UTP

The B-Ark / Glen Chapman R I P
« on: January 04, 2021, 05:47:39 PM »
My thoughts and prayers are with Glens wife Pauline and family at this the saddest of times. As everyone knows Glen was Chairman of BUSA and it was my pleasure and privilage to recently serve with him on the committee. A lovely man who's legacy will live on at BUFC and a sad loss to all who knew him. God Bless and Rest In Peace Glen.

That was without doubt the best performance of the season so far. We know we have a team who can play lovely passing football but we now know we have a team who can mix it when needed. Every player did the business today and what a star and grafter Jordan Burrows is. I know I will receive a few comments but I honestly believe we have a squad that can win this league.  UTP

The B-Ark / Keep everyone on board.
« on: November 16, 2020, 04:15:18 PM »
I am slightly disappointed with the lack of interesting information on the BUFC Official site. Okay it is awful that we are suffering across the board with this horrible pandemic particularly the lack of games but surely there is a need to keep all supporters on board and interested, every time I go to the site there is little other than "Match Off" and the only thing to see is the live cam on the ground. Surely we could stretch to photo's of the facilities inside the stand etc, Perhaps some interviews with the players many of who we have only seen on camera would enable us to get to know them better. There must be more to keep everyone engaged with the club as losing interest could mean losing fans. Hate to be critical but only saying this because I love and miss my club.  UTP

The B-Ark / New Stadium
« on: October 16, 2020, 01:04:55 PM »
Just been looking at the live web cam at the new stadium and have to say that during these worrying times it is really encouraging to see the terracing going in on the far side of the ground. As it looks that the ground is almost ready to host games would it be possible for the youth team to play some games there thus allowing fans in and using these games to carry out the the various testing requirements. I know it may sound desperate and there may be valid reasons why this can't happen what do you think?  UTP

The B-Ark / Season Tickets
« on: October 07, 2020, 06:50:17 PM »
Have received an email from David Newton as others will have done regarding Season Tickets. There are three options for those who have already purchased, Option one is to have a season ticket including streaming of games as from this Saturday versus Guisely with no refund. Option two similar for this and option three a full refund. I hope everyone who is in a position to can as I have done and opt for option one. Clearly the club desperately needs all supporters to help in any way they can to make the club viable this season. I think with the squad that has been put together, the new stadium, and the great result last night they deserve all the help and support we can give be it 50p or £5000 every penny counts.  UTP

The B-Ark / Kettering game
« on: December 28, 2019, 06:14:01 PM »
Not quite a classy game, no really outstanding displays, apalling referee but for me the best win of the season so far. After the shift they put in at that shithole Kings Lynn on a cabbage patch and the fact Kettering had a long rest coming into this game I thought the lads were outstanding. Lovely to see some 1500 home fans present and we need to keep building on this.  UTP.

The B-Ark / Building Together
« on: November 18, 2019, 06:29:37 PM »
The club have announced how we the fans and local companies can get involved in ensuring the new stadium will be completed to the highest specification by donating to any of the various innitiatives put forward on the official site. It enables companies and fans to become involved by donating a few pounds or larger amounts. I am putting this on here so  those who have donated to my JAM JAR COLLECTION may wish to consider ways we can use that money, It doesn't have to be any of the initiatives on the club site it can be anything for the benefit of the fans and the club. I will be in the Pilgrim Lounge prior to the game tomorrow night to hopefully collect all your jam jars, I will then bank the money and let you know the running total, at the moment it stands at £3,326-95. Again thank you all for your generous contributions.  UTP

The B-Ark / Woolford
« on: November 04, 2019, 09:47:02 AM »
Been watching this lad very closely in recent games and am coming to the conclusion that he has been the missing link. We needed a player with a real footballing brain who can instantly control the ball and make it appear he has plenty of time to make the right decisions, this lad seems to be that player as his first touch is exceptional. Saturdays 40 yard diagonal ball to Thewlis for his first goal when it appeared nothing was on was fantastic, likewise his corner for the third goal hit with pace and brilliant precision it was no wonder all the lads made a beeline for him and not the scorer (Thewlis). To me Woolford is one of the best players at this level and Craig is to be congratulated on getting him here. As I say this is my opinion and I accept that most supporters have seen little of him because of all the away games but hopefully they will see what I mean soon.  UTP
