Its not friendly banter at all.

Some of it is downright rude and in some cases it gets very personal.

Interesting to see there's much better 'banter' on the Facebook Groups and Twitter where you know who you are talking to, rather than on here where a lot of the posters are unknown.

Good Job you're thick skinned mate

Nicky Walker from Trinity
Not one for me, unless he has improved massively since he was here before.
Just floated in and out of game's.

He was very good for Gainsborough end of last season

Thought the keeper did well for his first game, came and collected when needed, blocked when with his chest after it bounced at him (surprising when you think how much water the pitch has had recently) and can kick with either foot. No blame on him for their goal, he shouted for the back pass but, for reasons only hare will know, Hare turned back into trouble and lost out to two players. Always play the way you are facing was what I was told as a defender but guess some of it may be down to lack of game time.

First half we lost every second ball, second half we were more competitive and won the majority of them and used the wings more. The penalty was a stonewaller, defender missed with his right so took Reece out with his left catching him about halfway between ankle and knee.

There is a real belief amongst the players now and a togetherness, think AM put too much pressure on them with too many instructions whereas CE just gives simple instructions, ball (A) goes into goal (B) easy ain't it :D

Thought the Town End took a while to get behind the team but once they did the team responded well. 16 from 18 is title winning form and now we are 7 points off the playoffs who knows what will happen between now and April.

All in all a deserved win and onwards and upwards :)

TBF  to Hare it was Kean that stuffed and played into trouble

Not sure which points you are referring to, but highlights are (now) available on you tube, and all my statements are backed up
Btw I was replying to young chubby

If you say about poor facts it was a center midfielder not a center half.

Wont be popular opinion but i prefer it when the away fans have the townend. The home fans are much louder in the normal away end.
I thought the same, and the main stand got more involved too later on, I'm sure because of the nearer proximity of the home terrace.

Agreed

I said on the Facebook page when we signed Willis we'd regret it, I remember that goal JR scored against him on NYD at Gainsborough and nothing I've seen will convince me he's anything but a liability and down there with Dan Haystead as the poorest keeper I've seen down here. In fairness he's not been helped by a porous defence and a midfield that lacks all the basics.
However after a revival of sorts under Karl Hawley we're actually looking a worse team now than under AM which is a sobering prospect. A new manager normally brings in a new manager bounce, but that's not happening here, we've gone into freefall since this guy came in and I'm now wondering if he's been brought in to oversee an NPL rebuilding job next summer. If he has I hope the board are going to provide the funds for this, because it won't be a cheap fix if we do go down.......then the conspiracy theories about the new stadium and it's delivery will go into overdrive.

Saying that Grantham are flying high in npl with virtually no budget

He didn't just stand in front of him did he though. He put his arms around him as if to get the ball off Hall or to stop him moving. Classed as impeding the goalkeeper.

Admittedly Hall should not have retaliated but it was only a push away with his arm and not an elbow and Thompson went down a little too easily.

One of those obviously who can see no wrong when its his own team i suggest you watch it again

Thought we were after someone with NL and NLN experience? Hope we have not fallen for the patter of saying all the right things, we had that with Drury.

You really couldn't make Boston fans up. Here is an idea giver him a chance. He's only managed in non League. He actually said he'd prefer someone with conference north experience not it was a deal breaker

Moving on. Where are these casualties he was talking about. Still no new forward I bet we sign another defender

No rush Big M,  reading  AM on the Vanarama site it appears he has moved the goal posts ,  we are " building for next season" looks like the promotion push attempt  promised has been aborted .     Next few signings will maybe reveal which league we are heading for .
We've made ""massive steps " says Adam .

Well if AM says we've made massive steps I'm reassured  ;D

Has this been officially announced anywhere ? Here's what Murray said about him a few months ago:

>>

United boss Adam Murray was thrilled to land Cowgill and said: "It's definitely a coup for us to land a player of Jack's calibre.

"He was in demand from clubs higher up the pyramid but he has turned down those advances to join our project at Boston United.

What exactly is "THE PROJECT" ?

Have you not heard of the flat back 10

The B-Ark / Re: Full admission prices for cup game
« on: September 17, 2017, 08:26:26 AM »
Why reduce the price? Some say free entry and half price but if man u were coming would you want the price doubled. The only thing to encourage people through the gate is playing well, being entertaining and getting results. IF we get a good cup run the attendances will go up each round.
Some talk of going to watch town but then pay £20 for travel and entrance fee but moan about paying £13 to get in york street.  >:(

Ive no problem paying 13 quid for adults, its paying foe the kids too that i think is poor, where is the next generation coming from?

I say kids free and increase the price for pensioners .

I say double for pensioners  ;D
