The B-Ark / Re: Season Tickets

GHM - are you making the assumption that all season ticket holders / supporters live in Boston ? My match day involves 3 hours of driving.

DL

Can't you get a friend in Boston to purchase it for you ?

GHM - no I can't. I haven't lived in Boston for years. I have a grandparent there still but he is over 90 now and doesn't get out of the house much. There doesn't seem to be much understanding for the supporter that lives afar here. I think the right thing to do would have been to make the tickets available at the last home game.

DL

I still don't see what difference it makes how far you live away from Boston.
Why can't you phone and order a new season ticket over the phone.  That's how I order & pay for my season ticket.

Artemis, because, as I pointed out earlier, I don't have that option.

I just can't see your problem. Telephone your order through to Maureen/John, pay over the phone, pick it up at the first home game of next season.  Why is that not "an option"?

Can't see it being changed, but I would go for "We're Gonna Win" by Bryan Adams.

AC/DC  not a bad shout though.

Yes Wembley, but don't tell anyone.

I thought so, you park at my office car park :)

FAO OXO - Tony A is definitely not DG.

I believe that I know who Tony A is, and if I am right, he is not DG.

Tony, do you drive a Honda?

I was really torn between Pidge and Miller. It really was a "head" and "heart" thing. I went for Pidge (my head said go for him) , but feel very sorry that I couldn't vote for Miller (heart).

Really, when you think where Ricky has come from, the level at which he now plays, his non-stop work ethic and superb goal return, he makes a very convincing case. Yes, I know he can be greedy. Yes, I know he doesn't pass to better placed team mates, and yes, at times he has the touch of an elephant, but he is a trier, and you have to love that.

However, Pidge has been really impressive throughout the season, isn't scared to put his body on the line for the cause (the head bandages say it all), and is so reliable that I just couldn't ignore him.

I have to say though that most of the squad should really be congratulated on providing a really entertaining season. Even if we don't make the playoffs, this has been the most enjoyable season since Scott and Hurst left. I love the fact that they keep trying, right up to the final whistle, and I hope that the rest of the fans have enjoyed this season as much as me.

What a dump of a ground. Next to an industrial estate, and was that the Mersey flowing it's effluent passed one end?

And how I hated Spike Carter, one of the best strikers around at the time.

How can you fall on hard times with that sort of income?

That was the rumour when he was with us, so it wouldn't surprise me.

If all of their kids are as useful as those that have been loaned to us so far, then keep them coming.

I would.

And so would a lot of others.

Its been a crap fortnight, losing to two rivals, losing Pidge for 3 games and picking up a few injuries.

Sometimes football is shit. >:(

Will it be three games? I assumed it would be one.

Get in. Keep it going boys.

I really, really want us to beat that team of upstarts this coming Saturday.

Get yourselves down there and bring a friend. This is getting exciting.
