were at it again in Eagles car park on Tuesday night.
If you are offered a cheap Sat nav or cd player please feel free to smack the theiving tosser.
I believe at least 3 cars were done. One of the lads works for the club and not on shed loads.
If you hear or are offered anything please inform the police.
Next time it might be you

The B-Ark / Whitby Game
« on: September 20, 2009, 11:31:48 AM »
Read all the other threads, thought I'd put my 10 pence worth in.
1) Lack of passion? I didnt see any players backing out of tackles or strolling about with their hands on their hips.
2) IF Newey had scored (and yes he prob should have done) there would have been no boos.
3) the booing at the end was embarrassing. Yes it was disappointing not to win but will booing help us in the next game?
4) Questioning the managers? Did ANY of the toss pots who shout offensive/non constructive remarks apply for the job? If not why not? If they know the game so well.
5) the heat must have played part in spoiling/slowing the game down (sorry if that looks like an excuse)

On their site they say they are playing an FA Trophy game on the 24th Oct. We according to O/S are playing Nantwich in the league. When do we enter Trophy? (if i've missed something - soz)

from a "source"

We do run a poker league although not all pubs participate. It started in May and finishes in the autumn, culminating in an individual finals night in January for the top 24 players.

The pubs around Boston who participate are:-

Angel Inn, Wrangle

Ball House

Bricklayers Arms, Old L

Britannia

Coach and Horses

Duke of York

Napoleon

Red Cow Inn, Fishtoft

Ship Tavern

White Hart, Old Leake

some pubs have more than one team

Getting better every week (this was their 2nd game)
if any bufc fans missing their footy fix on the 26th come along to Middlecott school for 2.30 and see last yrs shirts being worn with pride and desire against the mighty Woodhall Spa (reserves)
Lets see how leagues we can win this year!

No it has to be the "adult" community team that won 2-0 against Friskney on Saturday.
Got off the mark in this game with an og then a long range effort of great power! The fans went wild (all 7 of us)

The B-Ark / bookings
« on: September 01, 2009, 03:08:37 PM »
after 5 matches we've conceded 3 bookings (the last one was for Jamie Clarks celebration.)
our opponents over these 5 have conceded 12.
Is there a fair play league??

Also the Farmer Dan/People on day release from Rauceby types that frequent the Spayne Road stand, weren't berating our young players from start to finish like on Saturday, which is an enjoyable part of away matches. Funny how these people are never seen at other grounds?  My theory is they don't like to get out of the county cos "It's full of strangers..." ("This is a local shop for local people"....)

LOL LOL
"Rauceby types"!

Remember going back to when David Noble played for us, the amount of abuse he took during the game (usually for not getting "stuck in") despite being the most talented player I have seen in a Boston shirt is an example of how short sited the moaners are.

one of the reasons he left!

Excellent post "seenbetter"!
i was disgusted with some "fans" getting on players/managements back. Absolutely ridiculous.
We havent lost under these guys, in fact theyve only lost a couple of games since their move into management.
Most of the players are very young and dont need abuse from the stands.
Also on Saturday it was very hot out there and was never going to be a fast paced game, along with the Kendal "tactic" of hoof it (or the player)
Did those "fans" behind the dug out apply for the job when it was advertised?
I would imagine not - so what gives the right to moan if they cant do any better?
I really cant believe I'm writing this after the first home game!

rant over -
(and i thought it was a book review posting)

Do ex keepers ever make good managers?
I'm sure someone will find an exception to the rule
