The B-Ark / Boston 1 Barrow 0
« on: October 06, 2013, 02:30:29 PM »
Not the prettiest game of flowing football but the thing is we won!
Both debutantes did well I thought. Hall (possibly the best "Hall" to play for the club since Asa??)
He looks a good acquisition, Indy brings some "bite" .
It will be interesting to gets the nod when everyone is fit.
Impressed with the effort yesterday, not carrying any slackers this year.
Thought Barrow dished a lot of stick out to Milnes, I guess it was their way of breaking play up.
A bit of praise to Ricky Miller, he never gives up but his temperment is SO much better now.
He gets fouled and gets up and gets on with it, nice to see

Have reached the regional semi final of the FA cup. They won 8-0 at St Georges Park earlier.
Well done to all involved.

The B-Ark / Today (part 6)
« on: April 06, 2013, 05:27:45 PM »
No disgrace today losing 1-0 at high flying, big spending, possibly won't last, Chester.
Interesting to see our noisy neighbours lost at home.
Appears players are NOT playing for a new contract there

With two players going off on Monday with hamstring or similar injuries is it time we had a fitness/conditioning coach?

The B-Ark / Five home games left
« on: February 28, 2013, 09:13:57 PM »
I'm sure the chairman (like Abromavich) is fully aware of the divicise nature of the present manager.
Some will give him no chance
Some are giving him a bit of time
BUT
We have only 6 home games left, any chance of getting behind the TEAM?
Starting Saturday lets be the 12th man (cliche I know but true never the less)
Come on some you moaners and try it, you might even enjoy it :)

It's getting harder I'm afraid.:(

The B-Ark / Can any one help me understand
« on: January 19, 2013, 10:25:24 AM »
Jason Lee was no good because he had no contacts and only brought in 'mates' from Forest??
Graham Drury is no good because he seems to have contacts and brings in non Forest players??
Jason Lee was no good because he stood on the touchline quiet??
Graham Drury stands on the touchline but is too noisy??
Jason Lee was no good because he had a fitness coach ?? (Apparently paid out of his own pocket)
Graham Drury is no good because he has a 'conditioning' coach (and Dean West)
Jason Lee was tall
Graham Drury is short (very)
(Only the two statements above I actually agree with :) )
If we were to blend the two would that be the answer?
An average height guy who occasionally shouts and no assistant.

The B-Ark / V Harrogate
« on: January 08, 2013, 11:15:05 PM »
They were big, we were small
They were hungrier, we were well fed (I suppose that's the opposite)
They had Alan White, we didnt (he was outstanding)
They appeared to know where their other players were, we hoofed it a general direction.
They had 11 men, we had 9 (at least a couple didnt turn up tonight, the names will vary depending on who you speak to I'd imagine)
They were a good organised outfit, at the minute we are not.
But the Newsh got his goal and their keeper pulled of a couple of great saves.
We may have got an undeserved draw!
But hey ho and roll on Saturday and let them put it right.
Also lets hope the assistant will be back soon to sort things out
