The B-Ark / The Alfreton Game
« on: March 17, 2011, 02:41:06 PM »
I guess this is generally recognised as the best game seen in years at York Street.
Is there any chance of a DVD being done of it?

are we to assume there is no activity at York Street or the rumours have dryed up?

i've heard the fa are looking to replace Capello with a young, vibrant, forward thinking duo.
having made a mistake with clough and taylor they are going to put it right after the world cup.

Very impressed with him against NFU.
Dont know what he'd done to deserve the kickings he got.
Twice he was tackled in a "sending off" sort of a way, but each time he got up, didnt moan and just got on with it.
Well done - great attitude. (Prem players take note)

Wouldnt it be great if some of the people who turned to watch the "Man U" game or the  "Liverpool" game a few years back would put in an appearance for our last two home games.
Top of the table clashes or meaningless friendlies against boys teams??

(is anyone staying over after the Marine game and going to Anfield the next day?)

"It was also United's seventh victory in a row in all competitions, their best run of results since 1987."

Best run of form for 23 years!
Well done to all concerned

The B-Ark / the sending off
« on: February 09, 2010, 12:59:04 PM »
Jamie Yates was sent off when we were 10 up in the 90th minute and got slated on here.

Gareth Davies got sent off in the 35th at 0-0 when we were "stuggling" and doesnt get a mention!

which is best? Theres only one way to find out

The Jakemans Stadium
Boston United secretary John Blackwell is appealing for volunteers to help clear the remaining snow from the pitch on Boxing Day morning.

Blackwell is confident that the Boxing Day fixture against Stocksbridge Park Steels will go ahead, providing the remainder of the snow is removed from the playing surface on the morning itself.

Volunteers are asked to arrive at The Jakemans Stadium from 8.30am onwards on Boxing Day, armed with snow shovels and wheelbarrows if possible.
