Well,it looked like Ryan Charles had been close to signing (tweet via Timms) but they couldn't agree terms... Anyone know much about him??Have we missed out on a good or average player??

Looking at his stats he doesn't seem prolific as a striker but Timms clearly rates him!

Not at home so would be guessing-think 2006-7 are the earliest in there, up to a few from this season. Will do a list tomorrow if necessary.

Morning,

Moving out of the country and have a few shoeboxes boxes of programmes that I can't take with me. Can't bear to bin them so if anyone would like them let me know!

Keeping the BPA play off one for myself....

Cheers

just to confirm I was NOT the one who shouted "f. .k off Drury" I'm sure N40 will be my witness!
No, that was the plum stood behind me - it wasn't even prompted by a bad passage of play or disagreeable substitution. Though tbf, most times a pass want awry this footballing genius informed us that whichever player responsible was f'ing crap, regardless of whatever else good they'd done during the game.

To be as vitriolic as this guy is astounds me - surely he can't enjoy coming to games. Great that he still turns up and pays his money each week, but he must hate being at home if he has to resort to something that he clearly dislikes.

Hmm well im gonna start by saying thats gotta be the Dullest 2-2 draw i have ever seen.

Next im gonna say what a circus we have in town.

Drury told to get rid of non contract players that get paid more than £100 pound a week.
No snack bar in The lounge before match.
No Sunday dinners in the lounge at the mo.
Reserves without owt to eat last week until a long time after the match.
Pl staff not knowing what is going on.

Seem to think theres more going wrong here at the mo than us supporters are been told.

Is this something to do with the announcement earlier in the week that someone else was taking over the catering? (Not the £100pw players bit obviously...unless the new caterers are really expensive...)

All this talk of free tickets winds me up. About 3 years ago my dad and i turned up on boxing day morning to clear the snow at York st,with the only benefit being that we could enjoy football in the afternoon. You shouldn't need to offer free entry, there should be enough people around to clear the pitch because they want to see a game!

3 things i picked up from the.game yesterday:

Ben Milnes was an absolute star - how he didn't get man of the match was beyond me. Disrupted play from start to finish, chased every ball and helped start numerous attacks.

Leading me to my next point..I wish someone would put an arm round Fairclough and tell him its ok to hit it first time every now and again. Think he could have had a bagful if he hadn't let the ball roll over him and then take a touch. The guy seems to have learnt from his suspension though, even given the conditions, he managed to stay on his feet all game, so progress is being made!

Ross put a lot more effort in today - perhaps inevitable if you're playing to keep your place in the squad. Just hope when Drury has made the changes that he feels are necessary that the effort levels remain high.
