The B-Ark / Update on Jon's latest adventure.....
« on: November 20, 2013, 04:25:09 PM »
Jon is now a qualified surveyor and digging holes in the Ghanian jungle/desert along with some new friends.

A truly superb website   http://www.truegoldinvestments.com/introduction.html   with lots of heavy plant, gold maps and what looks like an outsized milking machine. He has even included the office floor plans.

So gents, if you want to get your special lady something shiney for Christmas, look no further.

The B-Ark / Dear Dave

Hic, in another drunken stupour again (me that is) and so I thought I would tell you how to get a new ground provided you don't need to make a personal profit from it (and looking at the dividends you pay yourself you don't need the cash to be frank!)

Ask the council to lease you some land for 100 years (that way the football club has an owner that is accountable to the local population unlike you and Sotnick) and then start to build bit by bit (suggest you start now well before the lease runs out) and fundraise so that fans can see their money going into something tangible.  Local businesses may help you out to a degree and you can apply for various grants as you know.

When you have done this you need to reincorporate BUFC into a fan owned club (if not directly managed by fans) and get rid of the £1 million plus creditor on the current balance sheet.

Very simple really.  :bunny

(Scroll down to see Boston's mention)

Is the club attracting enough of the town's Polish population?  Hard working, cash rich Poles could be the fillip the club needs. How about signing a few Polish lads? :snowman

The B-Ark / Chris Cook for manager
« on: December 07, 2012, 02:30:06 PM »
Lives locally, loves the club, most fans love him to bits, generally nice chap and hopefully will do it for free.

He's already a director Dave so just do some job enrichment stuff and give him a points total to achieve by the end of the season :rudolph

Well that's enough Festive cheer from uncle Scouse for one year.

The B-Ark / Darlington opportunity for Dave?
« on: September 27, 2012, 01:04:34 PM »
Latest news with Darlington FC is that the rugby club are to buy the 20,000 all seater stadium, for £2 million, and  then demolish the stadium and obtain more than £2m for the scrap materials, steel copper under soil heating system, etc,

Maybe, Mr Newton would be interested in the main stand with a capacity of 6,000 seats?  :)
