Great work and good news. Well done to all involved.

Am defibrillator trained but don't attend many matches being an expat. Happy to help if needed.

Vital as many people as possible are trained - need to be competent in CPR before undergoing the course. Using the machine is fairly idiot proof (yep I would know!), but need to be able to perform CPR to a high level.

You would be amazed how many medical professionals are not necessarily first aid / defibrillator trained.

Who is responsible for appointments?

Is it the chairman? Is it the board? What advice do they get and if any from whom?

The reason I ask, is what experience do the decision makers have with regards to football ..... it's a thing common across football when 'self-made' men take on football clubs with all the right intent (usually) and then start making footballing decisions with little knowledge of the subject.

Would they let a 'football man' into their companies and start allowing them to make key decisions on appointments?

Just a thought ... for all of football.

As I have said previously, what are we building up with?

Players are in and out every few months, there is a lack of continuity - seems to be a case of throwing some players together and hope they gel in double quick time or we start again, sometimes a couple of times a year.

I suspect the Drury will get rid of a lot of what he has brought in and a new squad will appear in August.

Perhaps this is consequence of the league we are in and the understandable reluctance to sign players on 'long' term contracts.

Manager doesn't seem to have spent much time 'assessing' the current players .... especially with his intake gaining mix reviews.

What quality players are available in February? Or will we see a clear out again at the end of the season?

Here is a thought ...

Does the Chairman take advise on his managerial appointments?

Am sure all will be revealed in the fullness of time.

History seems to be repeating itself here.

To afford a new stadium - no longer grounds? - we need a hotel/retail tie-in, nothing new there then. Current climate or not that is difficult, Boston is not Hilton territory for one, or corporate hospitality either and the town is awash with supermarkets.

So I don't know where the funding is coming from.... wasn't convinced then and not convinced now.

As I understand it Newton's plan was always to build a new ground then hand it over the club to a supporter's trust.
Is that still the plan?

Ball boy should be banned from the role.

Hazard, given a lengthy ban. If it had been a player on the floor, delaying the game - hard to believe I know, it would be violent conduct and minimum of a 3 game ban.
The fact it was ball boy, however wrong it was, the ban should be longer without a doubt.

Sykes a total legend - his smoking assembly top drawer stuff !

No characters like him anymore, schools these days are full of grey suited 'leadership teams'.

Surely a good CEO has already headhunted the next manager? Or at least a shortlist of those wanted.

Hopefully no more published criteria for the job, then do the complete opposite.

York Street is no different from any other ground. Crowds respond to what's happening on the pitch .... be it Arsenal fans booing off their team or whatever.

The negative bunch, have always been a vocal lot - though it does depend on where you are in the crowd - not much has changed in the last 30 years on that one.

The reality is that the team are not a play-off challenging team, which is where most supporters think they should be so interest is waning.
Bottom line is people pay their money and take their choice - what is on offer is simply not good enough for many so they are making their feelings known - rightly or wrongly that manifests itself in moaning or simply staying away.

No 'business' has a right to expect people to pay money when serving up a poor product, be it facilities, entertainent value etc. Something football could do well to learn.
