Ken I am with YSP, on this one that was a way out of order, uncalled, offensive and somewhat venomous remark to make to Artemis!!

Add into that since March 8th we have had 5 away games 3 of them being are longest trips, disappointing though it is maybe it's not such a surprise :(. But come on guys there's still time.

Pivotal moment for me today was Pearson's goal line clearance which would have given them the lead!! >:( Think our guys woke up then and realised they had actually got a game to play and a team to beat!! As well as Church and Sleath thought the Newsh had a very good game.

P.S  A few people were  moaning about Aaron's kicking on Tuesday!? Well what boots did Tom have on today ::)

Agree about young Woody too.

See Retford's pitch was given the o.k at 9:15. The weather can't be that much different at Ilkeston???

Seems a bit different to me than boxing day! Prior to the snow falling pre christmas don't remember it being that cold so we had a lot of snow falling onto a relatively soft pitch. Looking at yesterday's pic when there was a sprinkling/frost on the pitch, would have thought it will be a lot harder so surely the current thicker covering of snow will only be protecting what is already there??
Also as has been mentioned it's not just about the pitch! The car park was very icy and slippy on Boxing day and would imagine again that could  prove more of a problem.
Would love the game to go ahead but with most of saturday's championship and league matches already postponed really think we are being very optimistic :-\

Unfortunately I am very sober only half glass of wine has passed these talented lips today :snowman. Ah! Well the New Year may pass with less sobriety :xmashat.
Still not been a bad day and hoping for a better one tomorrow with some points in the proverbial bag.
