Sounds like it..... :-\

A bit like Northwich, with nothing at either end and just a big terrace and a main stand.

Would finance ever be in place to do anything with both ends? Or even 1?

All the atmosphere of a morgue.

Take us and FCUM out of this shitty little parochial league and you are left with very little crowd wise.

The sooner H&S get us promoted the better, I'm fed up of playing pub and village teams from the North West.

We win 10-0 and there's barely a post the day after the game?

FWIW well done to the team and management on a really professional job yesterday, and without being patronizing well done to Durham who did their very best to play football at all times despite being hopelessly out of their depth, I hope fortune smiles on them soon.

At the end of the day I think Cookie is finally realizing that when it comes down to it there's very few people will actually go out of their way to support the club like this.
I know when we were on the BUSA committee there were plenty of people happy to tell us what we should be doing, when it was pointed out a few extra hands would make a difference they suddenly shut up.
Plus at times it came over that when you were trying to help the club some people took the hump and felt you were interfering so when we finished with BUSA we decided not to get involved at all and leave it to those who we felt the club wanted to help them.

Good luck Cookie but I expected this response. :-\

Creepy lost to lower league opposition last night in the Trophy (where have we seen that before) and it looks like McFraud wrote the official match report for the Creepy site.

"Crawley Town Football Club have every right to be seething this evening after match referee Stuart Burt, gave Chelmsford City a late, contraversial penalty that no one else in the ground, including a vocal home support, made any appeal for.

The match referee, Mr Stuart Burt who appeared to favour the home side throughout the match, gave the spot kick with just over fifteen minutes left to play."

I bet McFraud and his mates are bombarding the message boards tonight!!!!!

Like the majority have £1000 to spare Patrick.

Most of our fans have much more pressing needs than spending that kind of money on the football club.

My contact at The Axe, Mad Malc the Tommy Saxondale lookalike tells me its SPLIT, A LOCAL BAND who play a lot of covers and a few of their own tracks. He tells me they are decent and have a local following so it should be worth a trip out.

A joint award to all the lads who stuck with us to the very bitter end of the McFraud/Sotnick/Robwell era. Not the greatest ever players but for loyalty in the face of impossible working conditions I take my hat off to them. And although not players Craig and Henry for having to put up with the rotten little **** on a daily basis for 3 long miserable years.

was looking forward to this 1  :-\

happy new year all  :)

What did you expect?

A mickey mouse club in a mickey mouse league who appear to have done next to nothing to try and get the game on.

Sadly Boston and FCUM are the exception in this league when it comes to trying to get games on, the rest of the clubs seem to make no effort even when they can see a Boston or FCUM coming with the extra revenue their support brings.

many thanks to David and Neil for everything they have done to save our club. May it continue for quite a few years to come.

It will need to continue won't it Chris, because I don't know what we'll do if we rely on the income from gate receipts and sponsorship to keep the club going. And that new ground won't come cheap.
