I'd get the road from Colsterworth to Melton and then onto Leicester, I've used it a lost in the last 2 months and it is quicker than the usual route. It brings you out in Melton at the cross roads.

Thats a great gesture Suzanne, many thanks.

Just a quick note to say all who knew Lisa (and myself) are very welcome to attend on Monday at 12.40 at Boston Crematorium followed by a reception in The Pilgrim Lounge, again all welcome.

Thank you so very much for all the kind comments, I'll be showing them to Lisa's mum next time she's round.

The funeral is next Monday, 9th August at 12.40 at Boston Crematorium. No flowers please but donations to the heart units at Boston and Leicester if desired. Smart casual dress as well, we both hate the formality of suits and ties (although I'll obviously wear one) and the reception afterward in the BUFC Sports Bar where all are most welcome to help us celebrate a wonderful persons life.

Andy

Just noticed Chalker.com is saying the last game of the season @ Hyde has been brought forward a day. I didn't know if you were aware of the changes at Ewen Fields this summer.......

I think Muzzy Izzett had knee trouble, but he was a very decent player in his day. My guess is he's not up to 2 games a week now else he's still be playing at a reasonable level.

Cheers, I'll let her know, she's having major open heart surgery tomorrow all being well, so it could be a long next few days.

Once again I've a membership at Notts CCC and owing to illness I won't be able to make the T20 games over the next few weeks. If anyone wants the tickets for any games pm me your address and I'll pop the ones you want in the post, it seems a shame to waste them.
Same goes for any LVC Championship games, I can't get in midweek and the way things are going I might not make the weekend games either.

Sorry no, both those games were programme sell outs.

The club have given me a large quantity of home programmes to move on, I have offered them to a couple of dealers on the proviso a donation is made to Save the Pilgrims. However if anyone needs anything from about 04/5 to last season at home give me a shout,I don't want anything for them but a small donation to StP would be appreciated.

There's almost a full house from last season except for the FCUM home game and the Sheffield cup game which a programme wasn't issued for.

I'd imagine they are no worse than some of the rabble that jumped on the bandwagon when McFraud was here.......

Its a free country, I don't subscribe to their viewpoint but I've a friend who's in it and I don't think of him as a racist. At the end of the day I can see how people get disillusioned with modern Britain and the society created by a decade of Blairist rhetoric and policies, its just I'm not inclined to subscribe to this route of action.

I don't care what they run out to but that music Sunderland run out to is pretty awe inspiring.......mind you with 35,000 present it should be, I'm not sure how it would translate in our stadium though.....?

Music after goals is the height of naffness though, clubs that play it should be docked points! If you need music to raise the volume after a goal there's something very wrong.
