Are we a mini version of the great set up at Ajax in the 70's where all the teams played the same style and the players were all total footballers? :o

Maybe not! ;)

But winnings not a bad habit to get into.

My favourite Impstalk story, probably because it was so close to the truth.

Tommy wasn't the best of managers but he did bloody well to get a side assembled so quickly that summer. If DN has made a mistake in his time at Utd its not moving TT on in the summer when we could all see he was making the same mistakes week in week out but he was doing bugger all about them.

But then again, someone might have come in, done moderately well and there'd have been no need for these two we have now.

Swings and roundabouts......

Well I bought the neighbors boy to his 1st ever game today, he wants to know when the next one is now!

Mind you it helps when he was given chips, pop and a Mars Bar during the game!

Really 1st class stuff today, as has been said Workington are no mugs and are well equipped for this level but we dismantled them. Pretty much 10/10 all round.

I might bring little 'un down for an hour, she's been to a few 1st team games but she's a pest! At the ressies she can run about to her hearts content and not upset too many people!

We'll play worse and win.

It wasn't that we played badly, we just didn't get the bounce of the ball and Nuneaton's winner summed the night up.

We were worth a point tonight but got nothing, another day we'll get 3 points for doing half as much.

I'd get the road from Colsterworth to Melton and then onto Leicester, I've used it a lost in the last 2 months and it is quicker than the usual route. It brings you out in Melton at the cross roads.

Thats a great gesture Suzanne, many thanks.

Just a quick note to say all who knew Lisa (and myself) are very welcome to attend on Monday at 12.40 at Boston Crematorium followed by a reception in The Pilgrim Lounge, again all welcome.

Thank you so very much for all the kind comments, I'll be showing them to Lisa's mum next time she's round.

The funeral is next Monday, 9th August at 12.40 at Boston Crematorium. No flowers please but donations to the heart units at Boston and Leicester if desired. Smart casual dress as well, we both hate the formality of suits and ties (although I'll obviously wear one) and the reception afterward in the BUFC Sports Bar where all are most welcome to help us celebrate a wonderful persons life.

Just noticed Chalker.com is saying the last game of the season @ Hyde has been brought forward a day. I didn't know if you were aware of the changes at Ewen Fields this summer.......

I think Muzzy Izzett had knee trouble, but he was a very decent player in his day. My guess is he's not up to 2 games a week now else he's still be playing at a reasonable level.

Cheers, I'll let her know, she's having major open heart surgery tomorrow all being well, so it could be a long next few days.

Once again I've a membership at Notts CCC and owing to illness I won't be able to make the T20 games over the next few weeks. If anyone wants the tickets for any games pm me your address and I'll pop the ones you want in the post, it seems a shame to waste them.
Same goes for any LVC Championship games, I can't get in midweek and the way things are going I might not make the weekend games either.

Sorry no, both those games were programme sell outs.
