Good old Dave.

Those two would shit on anyone to get a shin up the ladder, what they did was wrong, after the support they've had from Dave the least they could have done was see the season out.

I hope he sues the arses off the pair off them and Grim Town.

My thoughts too John.

We were in a terrible mess on the field when they came in and they've almost got us back where we belong, in The Conference National.

They might not be everyones cup of tea personality wise, Scott especially, but  football management is'nt about popularity, its about winning games and with a 63%? success rate you can't really fault them.

They'll be a hard act to follow for sure.

The kind of common sense move I'd expect from David Newton.

Best of luck to them.

And reading between the lines it seems there's only one boss at York St, good on ya' Dave, don't let the greedy b'astards trample all over you.

Sacking Ronnie Moore seems a strange decision with RUFC in the play off places and with a chance of automatic promotion very much alive. If its a reaction to the draw with Barnet and the thrashing at Chesterfield its knee jerk in the extreme.

Could you see our board making that kind of decision?

Would you want to work for those kind of employers?

And Grimsby's hardly a model of stability is it?

I thought their no5 was excellent, if we didn't have such a solid back line I'd be looking at us taking him on.

We looked all over the place but the mark of a good side is getting something out of a game when you play poorly; I don't think we could have had too many complaints if we'd lost today but 10 points out of 12 from the 4 home games will do for me.

Just one grumble. The programme. £2.50 for something with no relevance to recent events. Ok so I can take on board the fact we'd lose money on a reprint but to just stick a new cover round it was poor. A quid would have been plenty.

Surely rather than giving that bastard any exposure you can highlight a few of the caretaker managers we've had or even a few of the assistants? What about various trainers, characters like Don Robinson?

Most people want to say goodbye to bad rubbish as far as Evans and his cronies are concerned, does the club programme really want to be smeared with that toxic waste of space?

Keith was still manager for the FA Trophy game v Scarborough on the 1st of Feb and presumably the replay too which we lost. The Fleetwood programme for the 8th mentions printing deadlines and so the replay result wasn't noted but Keith was still listed as manager.

However, 7 days later on the 15th its Wilko's name in the managers column but no mention of any managerial shake up. Its my guess he left after the Scarborough defeat had effectively ended the season.

I thought it was our best home display of the season, there were several candidates for MotM, Green,Austin, Boyes and Pearson all had really good games.

Droylesden were a decent side too so it makes the win all the sweeter. 2 wins and a draw for the next 3 home games will do nicely.

Blimey Gus, we can't have that!

Don't you know you can't criticize BUFC any more?

Remember, we were unlucky tonight, we don't want to go upsetting anyone by saying we're playing pony at the moment and look in need of some inspiration all over the park!

If we're not careful, what was, until the bad weather came a superb season is in danger of going very sour on us.

Knee jerk reaction but entirely in keeping with todays health and safety crazy society.......don't go blaming the club though, blame the faceless men in suits on these 'safety advisory groups'. Anyone worth his salt knew Telford would bring 150 tops today, if it had been a play off then yes there'd have been more but that was a brainless decision today to give them the town end. Their away support, whilst decent for this level, is no better than ours but could you see any club giving up their best facilities for us?

Disagree about atmosphere though, just lately its been flatter than a witches tit down the lane........mind you, the football's been nothing to write home about has it?

Phew, I'm off for a lie down now, supporting the town enders, whatever next?!!!

Maybe a letter from BUSA or a press release from them to the wider media might stir a few from their slumbers?
