The B-Ark / FA Cup........just to rub it in
« on: October 19, 2017, 05:01:02 PM »
Chorley v Fleetwood is live on BT Sport on the Monday night.

Hyde are on the BEEB on Friday, a nice reward for a club that's had a rough few years.

Would BUFC v Fleetwood have been chosen?

The B-Ark / BUFC programmes
« on: May 28, 2017, 04:50:11 PM »
Ken.....can you make this a pinned post please?

For all you BUFC programme collectors;
Sadly long time fan and friend of the club Kim Cocks passed away earlier this year and his wife has asked me to dispose of his frankly enormous collection of programmes. As the club won't entertain the subject of a programme shop to raise funds I'll ask on here if anyone needs anything from the early 1970s to this season. There is a bit of a gap in the 80's and 90's but I've got in the region of 3000 programmes here. If you need anything give me a shout. Pricing is a straight 25p each home or away any season or 5 for £1. All the money will go to Jane to do what she wants with before anyone asks. Collection from my house is preferred.

I'm offering this Matchworn, BUFC Football League issue shirt with all the proceeds going to Save the Pilgrims.

Its Albert Jarrett's shirt from about 05/06 season, its the 'Portugal' style one and is in 1st class condition. Size is XL.

Sensible bids in excess of £35 please for this item, payment can be made direct to BUFC or myself via PayPal and it will be posted recorded delivery, so if you live out of town bear in mind that will be about £4 extra.......if you are in Boston you are welcome to collect. Please PM ALL bids to me on here. I'll close the bidding next weekend, so you've 10 days to make an offer.

These don't come up very often so there is a premium on this, remember there is a finite number of League matchworn shirts about, so here is an opportunity to have a bit of BUFC history and help the club out too.

Ken/Adam, can you pin this please?

Thank you BBC for pointing out what the SKY sycophants and cock suckers conveniently forget when he's mentioned.

Although its a dead rubber for us I'd love it if we could go out on a high by beating Aseem Allam's other hobby club and deny them the title. You know my feelings on hobby clubs like Brackley and Ferriby, hopefully both will soon be bankrupt and flushed back down the U bend to their respective regional leagues. And after last Sunday I don't feel in the mood for seeing another club from North of the Humber cavorting and celebrating at my teams expense...........

And that greedy bastard Yeates will no doubt be displaying his unique brand of bottling and hiding when the going gets tough, hopefully he'll get the deserved reception similar to his last visits with 18th placed Gainsborough Trinity.

utterly shameful...... >:(

We're at the business end of the best season for 3 years and barely 1100 can be bothered to turn up.

Do we deserve a successful team?

Or do we accept our core support is about 900 these days topped up with a couple of hundred floating fans?

You'd think players would want to hold onto awards to look back on when their careers have finished...........then again, it tends to sum up the throw away culture of the club at the time.

Fair play to them for admitting they can't afford the cost of competing in what must be the most widespread 'regional' league ever. Really and truthfully they should be in NPL 1 North on those gates, but with no sugar daddy like the two village team hobby clubs at the top end of the league they are at least looking to preserve what they have. When the money runs out at Brackley Village and Ferriby Village they'll be nothing left once the bailiffs have been........the sooner that day comes the better.

Mind you, 265 at The Northolme tonight tells me there's not a lot of interest there either, perhaps they should voluntarily relegate themselves too!

Nice beard Crazy Jimmy....... ::)

Funny how he passes off sacking about 7 managers in 3 years at Notts County as unavoidable and part of football, yet didn't have the balls to show The Tax Dodger the door.......

Watch it if you get a chance, Paul Buckle, who's been at Exeter City about 6 years just stops short of saying 'I'd never work for a cnut like you' to Jimmy.
