The B-Ark / Murray
« on: February 14, 2018, 12:21:10 PM »
We can confirm Paul Cox, Adam Murray and Ben Marvin have left the football club with immediate effect.

Sean St Ledger will oversee training until a suitable replacement is found: guiseleyafc.co.uk/paul-cox-depar… #GAFC

Good move someone progressing his career through the lower leagues not someone who's managed and failed from a higher level  #goodappointment

I think Richard Money still lives in the Peterborough area so could be him

Worrying times - be interesting to see who applies for the job. Would like Gary Mills or if not Adam Stevens from Grantham Town.

Mills is on a downward slope he's the last person we should get

Not giving himself much time to get a new manager , to get the right I would think would take more than a week sounds like someone is already lined up for it

Yes , the mess he left isn't as bad as the one that's been left now

Dennis would come back but will David Newton want him back?

If he was to come back I do believe he would keep Boston Utd in this league - everyone knows what he can achieve.
On the other hand if another manager is appointed there is no guarantee he will be any better than Murray plus it could be at least 2/3 weeks before a new manager is appointed. .

Agree with all that plus for me is the fact he knows this league , town , players in this league and does have a good record , despite what people may think of him as a person I think his results as a manager wherever he's been stack up

I have no axe to grind against Murray I never thought he was the right choice I would have gone for Frecklington who did want the job or anyone from the conference north or a level below . Having managed in the league is never a guarantee of success you need someone who knows the league and the players . I understand his reasons for taking the job but he's doing his reputation no good and looks like a rabbit in the headlights . I never wanted DG to go but for me his social media left no choice but if I was to get a Manager in to sort this mess out he would be a first point of call , knows the club the town and the players in this league . I don't think he will come back but I would love to see it and be excited about watching again
