Leesley in a back 3? Can't understand this one. I'm a Leesley fan but that's a square peg I'm a round hole there, plus he can't be match fit having not played for months. Did Cox just want to get a left footer on left side of back 3? Funnily enough I was listening to Paul Cox interview last night and one of the things he said was that one of the problems last season was not having the right squad mix and having to play full backs as centre half in back 3.

Do we think that's done for the signings? A squad of 21 we have now feels about the right number. With Burrow still injured do we need another striker? Leesley only winger we have but that's ok if we are using a formation with wing backs as we have plenty of players who can play that position.

Good player but don't think there's room for Burrow and Denton (or another target man) in the same team. Given a run in the team to build a partnership together Wright and Burrow should do well together. With Scott Pollock we've also got someone who can add goals from centre midfield, reminds me a bit of Simon Weatherstone.

I'm sure there must be someone the manager has in mind and trying to sign. The obvious one is James Mckeown, released by Grimsby, was very good when here before and went on to have a good career with Grimsby. Fairly local ish. The rest of the squad being assembled looks good. A little like this time last year just need a top quality keeper to determine whether we will be challenging for promotion or not.

Scott Pollock what a signing. Really offered us something different when on loan last season, looked like a real quality player, would be ideal next to Platt in the centre of midfield with their different qualities. Though he would likely get a League 2 or National League team after being released by Northampton, looked good enough.

Getting a top quality keeper in now looks to be the big one to sort if we want to challenge for promotion.

Just been announced stadium capacity restricted to 7500 so edit your prediction if over this. Attendance will likely end up being 7500 tickets sold minus anyone who bought a ticket not showing up
