Someone was asking for the floodlight photo from Portsmouth in the F.A.Cup, found it in the end a bit late though !!

Perhaps fans could contribute to the cabinet. Not worth a lot but I think I have a scarf from 1985 Wembley cup final.
Have been looking at an old thread of this topic, Becky ( Nicks daughter ) posted these, that we have run out to.
Olympic spirit
Munich Fanfare March ( both from our golden era )
Washington Post
I'm a Tiger
The only way is up
United/ Judas Priest
Are you ready for this
Final countdown
All these to tie in with our celebrations
We still have most of them at home aswell !!
It would be a nice touch in celebration of this old stadium, for the teams to run out to these old tunes. Perhaps your dad would have a stint as announcer for a match.
I don’t think he would, he hasn’t been to watch Boston since he retired as announcer. He does still keep his eye on their results though.
It's a shame Becky, I remember Your dad appearing on TV ( about Anglia.) He spent his School summer holidays repainting the old Stands.
He never said he appeared on tv for it !!
Becky, I have just read your post again. I think you are saying Nick did the painting, but in his modesty did not tell you he had his 15 minutes of fame.

and this is the orchestral version of The Final Countdown

This one went on just before 2.55pm so there was enough time for most of it to be played before the team came out to Olympic Spirit.
Rightly or wrongly I know associate The Final Countdown with the Evans era so dismiss it.
That Olympic thing is epic though
That nice Mr Thompson once put all his matchday choons onto a tape for me, and I still have the tape if it's any use. It includes the Munich fanfare and the one he played at the final whistle which was a bbc theme - I think it was 'sportsnight'. I've certainly never heard the Munich march anywhere else so I reckon it must be unique to us and worth consideration again.
