Sad news to report, ex FC United and Boston player (briefly) has been killed in a bike accident.

Thoughts with his family at this tough time.

There was more than 2000 when we went there and it was perfectly fine.

The saftey officer for the council wanted it limited to 1200 at first, we played them in the playoff semi final at BPA last season, attendance 2700+ pay on the gate and no difficulties, health and safety gone mad.

Planning permission already been accepted for the ground in Moston, building work to start very soon, will be ready for start of the 2013/2014 season.

Hopefully so, hope you don't mind me posting a topic, not been on here a while, this saturday we are in the playoff final, for a 2nd season running, losing last year to Colwyn Bay

Its our old rivals at Bradford Park Avenue who stand in our way, we've beaten BPA in the league home and away 5-2 on both occasions this season.

Hopefully see you all next season ladies/gentlemen.

When we played Colwyn Bay last season (4 times) twice in the league, once in the trophy and the playoff final, eachtime they resorted to bully boy tactics, constantly kicking lumps out of our players, though, they deserved to beat us in the playoff final, never had a problem with their supporters, wished us well after the playoff final.

Colwyn Bay is great on a summers day, but not when its midweek november very exposed ground very hard to play your football there too.

A few suggestions:

Junior English from Solihull - midfielder in the Church mold played very well in both league games against us.

James Lukic from Matlock - their captain plays centre defence - again every time he played against us was outstanding. Only problem was last time he played at this level for Gainsborough he had a tough time and ended going back to Matlock after 1 season where he has spent most of his career.

Danny Glover from Worcester - was outstanding in the cup game here and at their place in the league. Would of also said Ryan Clarke but he was a disaster last time he was here.

All off the top of my head I'm sure others on here have their own suggestions.

Lukic did well in the game against us earlier in the season keeping Roca and Norton quiete but in the game at Matlock about a month ago he had an utter utter stinker.
