As soon as I saw Mr Hair was the ref I said we would lose. He never gave us anything when we were at York Street and he gave us nothing yesterday. He was inconsistent from start to finish, pulling us up in nearly every tackle and waving play on when our’s were tackled, fairly or unfairly. Hope we never see him again.

Interesting article in Times sport section today about the oldest living FA Cup winner, former Derby and United player Reg Harrison. Played against his former club when United beat them 6-1 away in 1955-6 season.
