we looked dangerous first 10-15 mins but after that we couldnt get many chances.

Semps was our best player by far and i think he's the one that we need to focus on getting/creating goals.

as for tyrone kirk, when he came on looked lethal and would definately have him over chris hall

Brilliant signing to be fair, think his trickery would work well with sleath and semps!

Malkinson have nothing on Chestnuts.

Chestnuts see BUFC as a club
Malkinsons saw BUFC as a toy.

End of.

Great idea!!

I cant remember what club it was that did this, but it was an excellent idea to earn money...

Seeing as alot of fans seem to think they can manage the team alot better than JL and LC, Why not offer them a chance to 'become the manager' of boston united!

Sell tickets to fans and the winner can stand in the home dugout and be the manager (for 10 mins or so without actually making any subs etc ;) )

I myself would definitely enter to win that!

Seemed a great incentive for whatever club did that a year or two back!

The B-Ark / Re: statement from the chairman

Really, is this necessary  ???

We aren't even halfway through the season yet and we are calling for a statement from the chairman.

David Newton has done nothing but wonders for this club and he should be treated with respect from everyone involved with this club.

His aim is to get this club back to where it should be (Conf. Prem IMO) and he is halfway there i think.

We are an established Conference North side and i highly doubt relegation is on the cards for us. We don't have the funds to go and piss this league, Despite our successes last season.

I'd say lets focus on getting a new ground sorted and let Newton get some profit from the club before any ambitious attempts to become a 'Big' non-league club again

Wasn't there a bit of bad feeling last time we played them?  Their manager had said something in the local press about fancying their chances because we weren't that good.  When John Rowan scored he ran over to their dugout and threw a copy of the newspaper report at them.

I remember this 'paper incident'. something to do with a note slipped into the home changing room by someone from Kidsgrove. Can remember the Kidsgrove dugouts getting all angry about it too  ;D ;D

One of Craig's tweets 'We are not far away overall. Need a couple more options up front. If the names I heard mentioned yesterday come off, we could be flying...'

Sounds like were signing Irish striker Ryan Air.
