The B-Ark / Congratulations and good luck next season
« on: May 02, 2010, 11:06:28 PM »
Sorry its took over 24 hours but the disapointment of you beating us yesterday is still strong, but I must admit that despite an even 1st half with us leading 1-0 the 1st 15 mins of the 2nd half is where we lost it,we had 3 maybe 4 good chances to sew the game up,but we didnt take them, you go up the other end and its 1-1,from then on you were the only team looking like winning and thoroughly deserved it,so well done and good luck in th BSN next season, your fans were magnificent, singing and encouraging your team throughout, and no sign of any trouble either.

I did notice that a lot of Bradford's attacking play came down their right wing / our left side. The winger Simon Baldry had the beating of Chris Wood for most of the game. Baldry has lots of experience, having played a lot of League games for Huddersfield Town and Notts County, and I'd imagine he's on a lot more money at Bradford Park Avenue than our budget at York Street would run to. If Bradford don't go up this season, you start to question how long they can retain that type of player without running the risk of becoming the next King's Lynn.

Simon Baldry was signed from Ossett Town,so I assume it wont have broke BB's bank balance.
