Dennis being lined up to be the interim manager of AFC Telford after the departure of Gavin Cowan. Could well see him returning to Boston next Tuesdsay evening when Telford are our visitors.

KF scored the only goal in Lynn’s 1-0 home defeat to Guiseley today. 3 defeats now for Lynn in their last 5. Perhaps they don’t want promotion after all?

Noticed that on the TV highlights of Grimsby last Saturday that they paid prematch tribute to their former captain Brian Clifton who sadly has recently passed away. Many of our older supporters will have happy memories of Brian being part of a successful Pilgrim team from 1966-69. A cultured footballer who later played for Boston FC.
Perhaps we could have a minutes applause before the Brackley or Kidderminster match.

Anybody know if in the event of a draw after ninety minutes the match will go straight to penalties or will there be an extra thirty minutes and then penalties.

Sadly another team bites the dust. Shaw Lane FC will not be fielding a first eleven next season. Owner has plied over a million pounds in the project but feels he has gone as far as he can or wants to.

According to the Shropshire Star 2 ex-Boston managers are in the frame for the vacant Telford managers job. Dennis Greene being one and Adam Murray the other. They have had around 15 applicants and Dennis has already been interviewed.
