The B-Ark / Steph Ngamvoulou

Quality signing. Played in midfield for Hednesford down here a few weeks ago. Conference North's answer to Yaya Toure. Great work box to box, strong, tall. Just what we needed. Play-offs here we come.... :)

The B-Ark / Q: When is a keeper not a keeper?
« on: February 10, 2016, 10:11:48 PM »
A: when you're an FC Utd player.
On the face of it, Telford's 5-1 win last night to lift them off the bottom was impressive, but the lad who started in goal for FC Utd was injured after about 25 mins, and with no sub keeper, a winger went in goal, who, in turn, was red carded after 45 mins, so another outfielder had to put the gloves on for the second half!
3 keepers in one game! I have to say well done FC Utd for keeping the score down to 5-1. :)

The B-Ark / Bazza
« on: January 25, 2016, 11:50:43 PM »
Nice to see former pilgrims making headlines, but not always for the right reason. Bazza made his debut for Stamford away at Whiitby Town last Saturday....2 down in 15minutes, pulled a couple of stunning saves to keep them in it, and got back to 2-2, only to receive (not his first!) red card late on for handling outside the box! Another former pilgrim, Lee Beeson took over between the sticks for the last few minutes! There never was a dull moment with Bazza!

The B-Ark / The good, the bad and the ugly?

It's been well noted around the Vanarama that most opposition fans would choose Pidge as the best player in our league, but who stands out of the current crop of opposition stars to you?

I personally like d'Laryea for Trinity, as he never stops working, and always seems to have a decent game against us.

And given we've just past panto season, is their anyone who could top our old mate Yatesy for the villain's title?

As for ugly? Well, Tom Denton from Ferriby takes it for me, but what do you think?

The B-Ark / Stockport's fans forum.
« on: December 19, 2015, 09:31:48 PM »
If anyone has a spare 15 or so minutes, you should look at county's forum, and expand the huge amounts of threads today. To say it's a club in turmoil is an understatement and a half! I know we all share different views, but.....well, I won't spoil the read....

The B-Ark / Nicky walker
« on: December 14, 2015, 09:34:20 PM »
Can anyone shed any light on Nicky Walter's situation? Given the arrival of two more midfielders, is his recent absence from the squad a coincidence or has he made way for one of the new players financially speaking? Maybe he's injured? Maybe I'm missing something obvious, but I am curious...

The B-Ark / Jose moan-rinho

Surely a new career low today, losing at home to a team we drew with in the football league 13 years ago!
Keep up the good work Jose, fatty mcfraud awaits you in the championship next year!
Well played Bournemouth!  ;D

The B-Ark / What price Dayle Southwell?
« on: October 05, 2015, 10:16:25 PM »
Unsure of validity of the source, but had heard Birmingham had offered £50k for Dayle. Personally, I think that's under-valued. Whether or not it's right, what's the right price if Dayle were to be sold?
