The B-Ark / Trialists tuesday night

Went to FC ground to watch under 21s. Two notable trialists on show, one for Mansfield, tall midfielder, don't know names but played first team for Grimsby last year, ex Arsenal, Crawley and other. Best player on field was our number 10 by a long way. Spanish, played Spanish league 2 for Palma and other. Very clever footballer with pace, scored well taken goal.Shame there wasn't another player in the team to play with him to his level. There wasn't any other player capable of a first team spot for us. We got the information from both of these players girlfriends.Couldn't see Dennis there looking at these trialists.

Desperately need a new goalkeeper. Need someone bigger and more experienced as Joel Dixon. The team are having to try and cover the keeper which isn't on. Dennis knew he was losing Dixon and had long enough to find a decent replacement.

Anyone know if Gledhill's international clearance has come through yet? Really hope so. The defence needs to be as strong as possible v Barrow.

Anyone know why Watson wasn't in the squad v Villa. ? Thought he was a very good defender alongside Pidge. with Mills and Reynolds either side. Although Steer to be taken into consideration.

The B-Ark / Todays game v Aston Villa.

Very entertaining game in the first half. Thought the goalkeeper Matt Gledhill had a very good game, very quick and decisive with excellent distribution. Would make a good number 1 with Vince as support. We are really lacking a strike force up front. Number 8 in midfield had another decent game today. Second half was very poor up front, again using Charley Sanders, who just isn't up to first team level. Lets hope Dennis can see what we see up in the stands. All in all it is a trial period and maybe we shall see a better team on Monday as we get nearer the start of the season. Someone soon needs to be finding the net.
Don't forget it's now 7-30pm kick off on Monday v Forest.

Really enjoyed the game today. Early days yet but it looks as though Dennis has put a very good squad together. The quality of the football in the first half was good, with a fast passing attacking performance. The squad looks as though they have been working very hard in training. I am looking forward to next Saturdays game against a Villa eleven. Didn't miss Miller either.

Too many players think they are better than their club. Vince has a long way to go before he is ready for the number one position for BUFC. The agents are just out for themselves and it's a very bad move by Vince to let himself get involved. There are plenty of players I am sure that would jump at the chance of being a member of BUFC. I say let him go, we don't want anyone who is not 100% behind BUFC.
Very pleased with the attitude of Pidge, that is the type of player we need.

Does anyone else find our website really poor? every time I try to listen to an interview I get other non descript talking from other reports over the top, making it impossible to follow the interview I want to hear. I think I'll just forget our website in future, great shame.
