The B-Ark / Kick-off moved to 1230 Bishop Stortford away!
« on: July 19, 2011, 04:37:31 PM »
Just seen this on scottydalton twitter...sounds a strange idea...heard of games moved for TV, internationals, police advice but never for something like this....

scottydaltonSony Award™ winning BBC broadcaster Scott Dalton
BUFC game at Bish Stort Sept 3 moved to 12.30 kick-off to accommodate ground geeks on Non League Day. I'm not making this up!

Moved as there is some crazy idea that fans will want to see three non-league games in Essex in one day - also 3pm game and Lincoln 7pm

The B-Ark / Really interesting interview with Shaun Pearson
« on: April 10, 2011, 11:44:10 AM »
This interview just posted on Scott Doulton's Twitter - really interesting what Shaun says about team spirit.  -Have a feeling we'll struggle to hold on to him in the summer, but sure most would wish him well if he does go on to bigger things.

The B-Ark / David Newto interview online
« on: March 22, 2011, 06:19:40 PM »

Scroll down and there is a link to David Newton interview from BBC Lincs on this article

Sounds like David tried to deal with it in a dignified way, but Rob and Paul didn't see it that way and thought club was standing in their way.

Timing terrible, but wish them well, although I don't think Grimsby is best move for them.

The B-Ark / Aaron Butcher
« on: November 23, 2010, 11:02:22 PM »
Sure all would echo Paul Hurst's comments here below about Aaron Butcher from OS going on loan.

I think Rob and Paul have been right not to use him for first-team, but equally his attitude is top-drawer. Hope he gets fixed up with a club.

Feel sorry for him, but fully understand why the managers haven't used him.

Paul Hurst:
“He has kept coming training and doing his best there. We do not have a bad word to say about Butch. His attitude is right and he got stripped to warm Monty up (on Saturday), as we would expect him to. It’s for the good of the club. It’s not about Aaron Butcher. It’s not about Gary Montgomery or James McKeown. It’s about the group and he has played his part in that.

“He needs to play games because eventually he can get stale and the games will do Aaron good.”

The B-Ark / David Newton's interview
« on: September 19, 2010, 08:24:10 PM »
Just listened to this....interesting to hear what David had to say.

He's talking to managers about new contract and also says that if we needed to we would ground share if that would mean we could play in Football League again.

The B-Ark / Rob and Paul's high expectations
« on: August 29, 2010, 05:43:12 PM »
Some will think Rob is being over critical in this interview, but I actually think this kind of attitude from the bosses is why were have done so well under them.
