Now that it's clear we are very lightweight in certain departments, I can't understand why we're not actively pursuing some quality loanees ?

We have two strikers that aren't cutting it for starters. I feel we're at the point where if we don't take action then we're going to become further adrift. If nothing else, some fresh blood will give the fans a lift. The honeymoon period is over.

Seem to be struggling big time in the league above. Attendances also plummeting- only 885 last weekend and plenty of discontent with their lovely chairman.

Looking forward to my first game tomorrow since the midweek Gateshead defeat back in February 2020.

The big question is,  what are the sustenance options?.....Midweek it always used to be sit down fish and chips at Eagles but with coming in from the direction of Spalding, I won't be attempting to negotiate the traffic into town.

Any recommendations gratefully received  !

How have they managed to rise above us and seemingly all the other established NLN clubs?

Have they come into money? Have they just got a great manager who knows how to get the best out of average (cheap) players? Doing some research on their Chairman, he seems to have had a colourful and controversial past. Is he behind the success?

On another point, I've heard rumours that top scorer Adam Marriott is potentially going to Colchester.
