good solid performance and got what we deserved. Carried on the good attacking play from boxing day apart from we took more chances today. Really pleased after the game and really looking forward to corby now. Thought smith on the wing was superb today, i didnt hear the mom today but he was mine. Very good addition. Utp

« on: November 20, 2012, 01:54:33 PM »
just seen on twitter that the alty game has been moved forward. Its getting stupid how many home games weve had now! The attendances are really low and for me this is the a big factor into that!

The B-Ark / Platini is a joke!!!
« on: December 02, 2011, 03:16:18 PM »
Uefa president Michel Platini has revealed he is willing to move European club competitions to enable the 2022 Qatar World Cup to be held in winter.

Temperatures reach 50C in Qatar during June when World Cups traditionally start - but Platini says the tournament could be played earlier in the year.

He said: "If we play in winter, [it is] not a problem to organise it."

The Qatar bid beat the United States, Australia, Japan and South Korea to win the right to host the 2022 World Cup.

Qatari officials have plans that include air-conditioned stadiums and are researching the potential creation of artificial clouds which would alleviate some of the heat in the Middle East country.

However, the possibility of moving the World Cup to winter was also suggested and Platini has offered to alter the schedules of European competitions.

He said: "If the people can't come to enjoy it [because it is too hot], it's not good. Instead of stopping the [European] season in May, you play until June, then stop in December. Where is the problem?"

The Uefa president also reiterated his belief that the decision to hand the World Cup to Qatar - whose international side is ranked 95th in the current Fifa rankings - was correct as he believes it is the right time to play the competition in an Arab nation.

He added: "I think it's nice to go to another part of the world, with people who have never hosted the World Cup.

"I think it was a good decision but now we have to adapt to when and where the best moment is to play this World Cup in Qatar."

better but still not creating anything when on top! Personally i think they only looked good when we gave them time and space. Canners needs to stop playing himself when injured.

The B-Ark / pilgrims in decent shape
« on: October 07, 2011, 06:22:50 PM »
im not too overwhelmed by the start we have made to the new season but if you look at statistics we have made exactly the same start as we did with s&h in their first season, in which we also saw a below par performance to get knocked out the fa cup at the first match. Ok some of the players are not to the same standard but their still doing ok. Add to this our ever growing injury list and the league table doesn't make bad reading. We just need a few more goals from the ever changing strike force and we will be fine! UTP

The B-Ark / Ground hop garbage
« on: September 02, 2011, 07:14:49 PM »
is it just me or is this stupid idea just an inconvenience to us. Players and fans are leaving really for this. All i can see it for is blue square getting publicity, not really a good idea having our biggest rivals there as if there is any pilgrims wealthy enough to go to all games will just get abused by gimps fans. Is this just me being grumpy cause i have to get up early or is it a load of crap???

The B-Ark / wardy
« on: August 29, 2011, 06:48:59 PM »
well done today lad, quality. There strikers didn't get a sniff. Stones was better but were really lacking pace up front and i think we lacked urgency to try to win the game! Much improved with sleath in there though, newsh looked like he was blowing after first half cause he was doing all the chasing up top.
