The B-Ark / BUFC Programmes for sale
« on: January 02, 2025, 12:18:18 PM »
I'm looking to offload all of my spare BUFC programmes from the 60's to present, home and away with a heavy emphasis on Late 90's to 2006/7 FL issues.

There is a lot, probably a couple of thousand and perhaps BUSA might be able to sell them on and make money from them, or an individual will want to ebay them as part of an online programme shop.....

Anyway, contact me if you are interested, I'm not looking to sell my collection BTW, and I'm always looking for 40's/50's/60's items I don't have, especially handbooks, season tickets, badges and postcards/team photo's. I'm always fair with prices paid for items I want.

The B-Ark / Worst game you've seen
« on: December 02, 2024, 05:09:23 PM »
The general consensus on the bus home and at the game was that it was just about as poor a game as it its possible to watch with 2 seemingly doomed teams generally working hard but producing very little in the way of entertainment.

But was it THAT bad?

What was the worst game you've EVER seen?

My personal favorite was a 4-0 home defeat to Gateshead at the fag end of 1983 which was so bad John Froggatt resigned straight after and only 600 odd turned up. It sticks in my mind as it was my Grandad's funeral the next day and the game matched my mood.......

The B-Ark / Programmes
« on: April 18, 2024, 12:42:58 PM »
As you know I've a few thousand BUFC programmes cluttering up the place.

The time has come to get shut of the spares, I need to reclaim my garage for other projects.

I've spares from the late 60's to probably the mid 2000's, home and away.

If anyone is missing anything from their collection give me a shout before it all goes and you pay a dealer a small fortune.

And any offer for the lot as a whole will be considered.

The collection isn't going BTW, just the spares.

The B-Ark / Fan Engagement
« on: February 22, 2023, 04:44:14 PM »
The club has never had so many employees as it has now, yet fan engagement is at an all time low.

Its back to the 80's and 90's where communication was almost non existent and confined to a privileged handful of people.

I'll be honest, I couldn't care less about how some non entity from Nottingham is getting on with his calf injury, but I am interested to hear what the clubs plans are going forward.I'd love to know what the plans are if we are relegated, and what structures are put in place to ensure this shambles of a season aren't repeated and going forward is there a desire for Conference National football in my lifetime

If there is a plan other than trying to sell out hospitality every week........

Anyone would think the club are quietly hoping that by saying nothing they'll hope this whole mess of a season will slip quietly by and the fans won't notice.

It says a lot that a fan led voluntary statistical account posts more than the club, that should be a source of great embarrassment.

Not great to watch but a big 3 points against historically tough opponents.

Goalkeeper MotM for me.

keep nicking wins like that and we'll be OK.

"Overall the fans love the stadium....."

Hmmmm, the jury is out in a lot of cases.

is he available for the replay?

I think he could be crucial to our hope of progress if he's available.

Sounds like Dale don't have a game next Saturday, they should have played Bury. Gives them a bit of time to rest and recuperate before coming to Boston.

The B-Ark / People who live in glasshouses........

"They've got new owners, having got rid of some people who shouldn't really be running football clubs."

And he really said that without the slightest hint of irony, a man who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near any football club at any level after what he was party to here.

Absolutely shameful, but totally expected.

The B-Ark / Controversial perhaps but.......

Adam Johnson anyone?

Done his time, paid his debt to society.

Would anyone on here be open to giving him the last few games to get his fitness back?

I've read he won't get a game in the top 4 divisions at present.......but Conference North?

Tin hat donned......./.
