Another really tough Promotion Playoff game. My Computer reckons an easy Home Win. I'm going for:

Scunthorpe United 2-2 Boston United (5000)

It's the score at the end of normal time that is being predicted.

Another game to predict a result for. My Computer reckons a straightforward Home Win. Not surprising as Alfreton haven't lost a league game at home since November 25th 2023 against Brackley. I'm hoping for:

On paper this is the toughest game of the last four. My Computer is predicting A Draw. Brackley are the in-form side and haven't lost in their last nine league games. So a draw would be a good result. I'm going for:

Another one against a team near the bottom of the table. Not surprisingly My Computer is saying it should be a straightforward Away Win, but Rushall won at Boston back in November so it may not be quite so easy. I'm going for:

The Easter break fixture usually has a good attendance so I'm upping my usual home gate prediction a bit for this one. Boston are on a roll with three consecutive big wins under their belt. Not surprisingly My Computer is predicting an easy Home Win. It looks right, but Boston's best win run this season has been three in succession. However, I'm going for that to be bettered, so:

Boston United 2-0 Peterborough Sports (1958)

Well, it's now back and Banbury United are already relegated and Boston need a win to get back into the playoff positions ahead of the final game of the season. My Computer still thinks it's a very easy Boston win - not too surprising as Banbury have lost 13 of their last 15 league games. But this is Boston. I'm going for:

Spennymoor are almost as inconsistent as Boston, so this one's not going to be easy to predict. My Computer is suggesting a narrow Boston win, so I'm going for:

An away game amongst the four home games. Blyth are always a tough team to beat. They are currently mid-table but are in a bit of a slump having gone six league games without a win. My Computer is predicting a straightforward Away Win. I'm going for:

At first sight this looks like Boston should win fairly comfortably with Darlington being in 23rd place in the table. However, in their last game they went to South Shields and won 4-0!. My Computer still has it down as a straightforward Boston win. I'm going for:

With Bishop's Stortford rooted to the bottom of the table having lost their last eight league games it's not surprising that My Computer is predicting a very easy Home Win. However, these are often the hardest games to win and indeed Boston United provided Bishop's Stortford with a rare win back on August Bank Holiday Monday. So I'm going for:

Boston United 2-1 Bishop's Stortford (1666)
