He was on the bench in the second round against Stalybridge Celtic but not used so may not be cup tied.

And they’ve agreed terms with Jonathan Wafula😵 Definitely not good enough😵
Makes me wonder what gas Craig learnt this year🤔
Nicky Wroe, Ryan Qualter and Gavin Allit , no loss, should be aiming higher.

The B-Ark / Why play a winger up front and have forwards on the bench.
« on: September 01, 2018, 08:56:04 PM »
Nothing against Nicky Walker but he is not the goal scoring forward we need. Ok, he did well when he came on as a sub at half time in one match, he’s full of running and doesn’t give up but he shouldn’t be playing up front when forwards with experience are on the bench. They obviously need time to create relationships but they aren’t going to get that on the bench. Worried by Elliot’s aftermatch interview when he inferred we had a lack of wingers at the moment and preferred Walker up front. Give him a chance on the wing and give the forwards a chance to prove themselves.
Credit to Elliot for admitting he got the set up wrong in the first half today, but why leave it until half time to change it. It was obvious to all after 25 what needed changing!!

In all honesty the best ref since the last female ref we had!!! Asserted her control and made good decisions consistently through the match. Maybe missed one yellow card but that's all in my mind.

How many of the Boston public do go Andy. Around where I sit there are people that regularly travel from Skeggy, Peterborough, Burton on Trent, London, Spilsby, Leicester and Nottingham. Like you say, just a pity a few more on the doorstep can't turn up.

Ban him. We don't need his obsessive negativity.

Do we know if all the retained players have resigned or are going to resign? Not seen anything official or have I missed it.

Seeingbetter saw it right. Charley is a liability, seen him sent off for youth team, sent off for the first team and fetch blood again the other night all for use of the elbow. Either teach him how to challenge strong but safe or get rid. Think it was Jordon that kicked out a couple of times though. Not impressed by Sleaford. Not a good game to watch.

Now you are making me feel guilty. Don't know whether we should come if it's going to deprive you of half a tea cake.

One word, or is it two, "outmuscled".

Certainly need an Alan White type at the back. He was magnificent last night, as always.

Charley certainly deserved his sending off. He has not learned from the sendings off he has had in the youth team for very similar efforts.

The positives, we were the better side till they scored, they did keep trying to the end, they did try several different tactics to nick something out of the game rather than the same old same old tactic from JL.

Will judge GD when he has had time on the training field to instill his style and tactics and when he has replaced some of the current squal with the players he wants.

What a game to miss. On wife's birthday duties >:(
Thanks to Seeing better for the text updates. Must admit was worried at half time that we would not play so well second half as we haven't of late. Was even more worried after first 4 minutes of second half :o but well done to all concerned. Lets hope next game is not "after lord mayors show".
Don't plan to miss many more :-[

Caught a glimpse of training last night. Says alot but thought the most enthusiastic and fittest of trainers on view was Bassa. He was really showing some of the others the way.
A few old faces, Milly, Liam P there as well as Mat H, JJ and Jamie S. Didn't recognise any of the trialist. Saddest sight of the night was that the Newsh is obviously not fit yet. Having treatment rather than training. Hope he does not miss out fully on pre season training again as it looks like we are going to need a fit Newsh. Wardy looked to have the right attitude so not supprised they have signed him.
