On an evening of inclement weather and in a competition that has failed to fire the imagination of supporters I must say a well done to all the 467 supporters that attended the match. This was the highest attendance of the evening for this competition, followed by Oldham 455, Gateshead 407, Halifax 292, Woking 227, Ebbsfleet 213, Maidenhead 210 and Dagenham & Redbridge  184.

Wondering who our new goalkeeper is? Here's a bit of background on our new addition that I have managed to glean.

On loan from Notts County until January. 25 years old and a former England schoolboy international. Played 23 league games for County last season but has yet to make an appearance this season as he is ranked now only as their number three goalkeeper.

He started his career in non-league with spells at Sporting Khalsa and Brocton before he caught the eye of Burnley who signed him in 2017. Spent two years at Burnley where he had a loan spell at Lancaster City. He then moved to Mansfield where he made 28 appearances and spent some time on loan at Widnes.

In 2021 he was snapped up by Port Vale for whom he made 54 appearances before switching to Notts County. Until this season he has played regularly in the football league.
