We got Lowestoft in cup a few years ago which as a fellow Norwich exile it was fairly close away trip (not  a match to remember fondly) so should think Norwich United away is also a possibility. I'm sure last year or year before it was split north south and Midlands for regions with us and being Midlands

David Newton was asked about south stand in radio Lincolnshire interview the other week. Said they were just getting last bit of funding in place for it and will be giving it the go ahead very soon I think he said certainly this year in terms of starting. Said because of supply issues in construction will be around 12 weeks from go ahead until steel goes in. I imagine it will be ready for start of next season.

Spennymoor are a good side and on that performance will probably be in playoffs at end of season.

Their 352 formation gave them the extra midfielder with them having the better of the midfield play. Thanoj didn't get to pull the strings in midfield like he can when at his best, possibly wasn't fully fit.

Ferguson at times looked great very athletic and good on the ball. I think that was his first league game in first team football after playing academy football. One that I think will improve a lot with more games. Got caught out for the winning goal pushed forward into their half and spennymoor took advantage with the gap down our right.

Tootle adapted to playing on the left well a reliable player one of the best players we have. Shocking decision from ref to book him for diving he clearly didn't.

First time visiting new stadium really impressed with everything. David Newton and co what a fantastic stadium they have given us.

Everyone else woke up really looking forward to this one?

Should be a good match.

2 matches in our league off for Covid. Thankfully ours isn't.

Elliot confirmed on Radio Lincs last night Duxberry out of 4-6 weeks and Rollins out much longer, probably until Christmas and Butler unavailable with Peterborough issue.

Craig Elliott used both 442 and 433 in pre season, I think we looked better when playing 442 and did so in last friendly so will likely go 442. Expect Tootle will switch to left back and Ferguson goes right back as have done that in a couple of occasions in pre season towards the end of matches after making substitutions. Although Lessley and Wright could also be an option there.

Leesley and Hawkridge will likely be the wingers that start then the two big decisions for Craig Elliot will be who to start in central midfield alongside Platt and whether to start Danny Elliott or Jake Wright alongside Burrow. Key decisions these, we need a creative player alongside Platt, I would go Thanoj if fit and someone to put the ball in the back of the net upfront, both Wright and Elliott have looked good pre-season so a tough decision.
