Why was Andre taken off suddenly? Was he injured? If so, I am sure we all wish him a speedy recovery.
Arnold was taken off and replaced by Nicky Walker, no injury just a straight replacement.

Think that was tactical to cover against Kane getting away, Nathan had run out of steam so it was a sensible substitution :)

Who's playing in defence?

No he's not, he's on first

The B-Ark / Re: Your memories and stories of York Street

Where do I start? So many memories of the Street. The first game I saw was in December 1965 (aged 4) Dad took me whilst Mum did the present buying. I know we won but that was/is about all. The Derby cup replay (bunked off school, no way was I missing that). The 85 Wembley route, coming back like we did against Blyth to win 5-4 then that Bob Lee header that took us to Wembley. The Hurst and Scott promotions.

Those are just a few, there are also the memories of players, Adamson, Thompson, Froggatt, Cook, the 84/85 squad and many many more that stick in the memory.

Will miss the ground when we move, so many happy times at various viewing points, oh and also made the cover of the 83 (I think that was the year, will have to search through)  seasons programme, a shot of the town end in it's infancy, a night game with not many of us up there as it was freezing the proverbials off. :D

Nope but I did notice Glenn was with him the last couple of matches of last season if that helps.

I wondered if three games in seven days in this heat and on rock hard pitches may have had a bearing on our game. Roberts brought some pace and quick passing when he came on, we were missing that in the first half.

Jay did quite a few laps and stretches before the match last night

Shirebrook, presumably the Shirebrook Academy who have a floodlit 3G pitch.

Read somewhere a few days ago one of the players mentioned training at Shirebrook.

At least AM did a good move by relocating , lets foregive him for all the other crap .

Actually he made two good moves, the one you mention and the one when he left us :D

Does anyone know whether he is still on our books? I may have missed it but I haven't seen anything about him recently.

Asked Richard earlier. He on contract but carried injury at the end of last season if you remember. This as now been sorted after a op and he should be back in training soon

Yep, groin op, it was delayed so he could help get us out the brown stuff and once we were safe he was rested then had the op.

Colley snatched the ball and demanded he took the penalty, it was 1st game of Season two years ago v I think Stalybridge. His penalty was so poor that the keeper laid on the grass waiting for the ball to arrive. We eventually lost 1- 0.   Strange how I can remember this yet forget why I go into the kitchen .....

DONE DEAL: The Pilgrims’ sixth newcomer of the summer is 28-year-old left-sided defender @jordangough90, who has previous National League North experience with Solihull Moors, Brackley Town and AFC Telford United:

The B-Ark / Re: New kit
« on: June 06, 2018, 01:20:43 PM »
Are we having a new kit?
I must admit I do like stripes, old gold and black shirts, black shorts, gold or black socks.
I've never been keen on the present shirt, lets get back to 'old school' kits.
Away kit, all blue, pale or dark, either will do me.  :D

Seeing as the kit we have worn for the past two years is reduced in price in the shop then I guess we are :)  Keep an eye on Chalkers car, it is usually a big clue to what style we are getting :D

Anyone know where Trinity's young keep has gone?
I know he was here and did an ok job.

No idea where he is at the moment but he signed new U23 forms with Derby in February

On the contrary, I think Stewart is an excellent signing for that level. It's not like he looked out of his depth with us, is it?

Agreed ,  playing in a league lower he will be a capable keeper .  Too many rush to knock players/managers when they leave .
I know you've not said specifically that I have said this since he's gone, but my opinion hasn't changed. My grievance was that he's a big imposing figure, but he never looked in charge of his box. He never came for crosses, didn't  verbalize with his back line. They never seemed to know whether or not he was coming first the ball. he seemed to leave them guessing, and that's when needless goals can be given away more frequently. This is something that's been said during the season, not just because a Tinpot now.

Agree on that one, how many times did he rush out then stop thus making the defender hesitate then it a panic hoof out of play, he had good ball skills but as stated you need to be heard as a keeper as you can see everything in front of you and can see danger behind the defence.
