The B-Ark / Re: Well done lads

Well, well it's been a VERY long time since I've posted on here but just wanted to say a massive well done to all concerned last night - the players were immense and the fans got the old place rocking again. I sadly couldn't make it to the game but rest assured it looked fantastic on the TV, even the flares (although I take the point about momentum lost at a crucial time, let's not turn it into a witch hunt against whoever did it. It obviously didn't help but wasn't the reason behind the defeat).

Great to see you again, Boston.

He also said this:

Steve Evans: Rotherham boss tells Millwall to 'enjoy League One'

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans says his team's Championship survival was inspired by a Millwall player claiming the Millers lacked guts.

They beat Reading 2-1 on Tuesday to ensure their survival and relegate Millwall and Wigan instead.

"A Millwall player said we've not got bottle. I've got 12 bottles of pink finest Champagne and we'll be drinking them for about a week," said Evans. "Look forward to League One, son, and keep your trap shut."

Lovely bloke....

The B-Ark / Re: DG thrilled with points tally

I am with you DT, more than happy with 10 points from 15, ot looked a really had start, but you're right, we have to be one of the smallest teams in the league, and as those giants from Ferriby proved as such can lose out physically because of it. I also agree we need at least one forward, and two if Newsh is out for much longer, but like us DG will know that. Not rocker science is it?

Rocker science: the study of fossils including Mick Jagger, Lemmy Kilmeister and Roger Daltrey.

Think 12th is about bob on for Boston - our squad is weaker and the league appears stronger.

We look woefully short up front. You can't replace the league's top scorer with a centre half. Surely Miller's departure has freed up the cash to get another proven Conf North striker? I hope DG can sort this before the season kicks off because right now, the squad looks horribly unbalanced.

Yep: http://www.lutontoday.co.uk/sport/luton-town/exclusive-hatters-sign-boston-striker-miller-1-6139730

Greene really needs to get his finger out and close some of these deals rather than tweeting about how well his 'shopping' is going and ending up empty handed. Squad suddenly looking markedly weaker than last year, where they fell short anyway, and league will be stronger this year.

If the players are as arrogant as this it might work in our favour...

Seriously Ken: isn't it time to ban this fool? I'm all for objective debate but unfortunately this guy is incapable, preferring instead to keep grinding his axe to the considerable detriment of this forum.

In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people by posting inflammatory, extraneous or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum, chat room, or blog), either accidentally or with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

WTF is going on here with all these axe grinders hiding behind alias accounts and 'granddads'? How about claude rains/scouse pilgrim/rooster isaac you post under one name? Or better still how about everyone else ignores your posts? Then hopefully you'll get bored and go away.

Pure quality when he won us the Conference title all those years ago...and then we let him go for zilch! Could have been a potential £1M striker but did the rounds at Conference/League 2 level and never gave himself the chance to prove himself as a Championship player. He HAS still got it though! A little surprised he's not re-joined Pilgrims for a 3rd spell. :bunny

£1m for Daryl Clare? Are you mental?
