My mate is a Gateshead fan.  He goes to every match. He's one of the nine regular away supporters. Last year he received supporter of the year. He messaged me yesterday and thanked the club for letting them know in plenty of time.  Hopefully the match will go ahead next time, he owes me a pint. We will meet up in the clubhouse.

I see on that Twitter thing ;D a Spennymoor fan was slagging us off for postponing yesterday's match. He's very quiet today.

An ideal solution would be a mini discount. Say a book of 4 tickets for the next 4 home games.  The cost being for the price of three. This would give the club advance payment and ensures a good gate for a cold Tuesday night. Just an idea.

Bloody hell someone is listening ;D

As a season ticket holder I would not object to a deal due to exceptional circumstances this season.  If it becomes a regular occurrence it would be detrimental to season ticket sales going forward.
My thoughts exactly.

Season tickets work out at about half price entry. A one off deal over a busy period to help out cash strapped fans, will only pay dividends. Not a massive saving but a small gesture to help club and fan.

Season ticket holders get about 35% discount for paying up front.

Maths not my strongest subject :) 35% saving over the season, against 25% saving over a 4 game 3 week period.  I know it would not suit everyone, but last Tuesday was like a graveyard.

As a season ticket holder I have no objection.

My take on the game has been mirrored by the majority of these posts.  The times ( especially in the first half ) Rollins was calling for the ball on the wing, and Penny either passed it back, or tried to put in through a very crowded midfield.

The pitch was very poor, and players from both teams seemed to struggle to keep their footing.  I am not sticking up for CE, but playing the ball on the ground last night seemed very hard to do.

Curzon were very good at what we seem to struggle to do.  That is going down very easily, playing the referee and blocking runs off the ball.

In my opinion Scott Tallis, last night's referee was as bad as Jonny Urwin the Kettering match referee.  He did not let the game flow.  He turned down two penalty incidents ( both for us ).  How that was not a penalty on Walker only I, and 800 other supporters will never know.  Danny Shaw should have got a straight red for taking out Jake wright, and every decision seemed to go Curzon's way.

We could have, and should have won this game, but we got a point and that puts us up to 5th.

Looks like Jake Wright has been recalled.
If you want to know anything just ask me. Then ignore it. Jake here till the end of the season.

Nothings changed mate , recall you always beat the Boston Standard with the BUFC  "breaking news " 40 years ago .   Now your beating all comers in social media  ;)

Pete, you know my information had a good chance of being 50% correct. ;D ;D

Totally flabbergasted that there’s some BUFC fans saying they would have him back.

Are there? God help us!

Probably the sort of 'fan' that can find their way to Carshalton and Rochdale but can't find York St on a Saturday afternoon.

Very Harsh Andy, but true.
