Tamara, really sorry you had to encounter a minority of idiots by the Leisure Centre, can assure you they are the very minority here in Crosby, hope they wont put you off visiting us in future. Glad you all enjoyed you visit to Knowsley Safari Park, was going to suggest it, but didnt want to be the one that lead you to getting your car wrecked by the Baboons (it happened to us) !!! All the feedback from Marine/Crosby area over the last few days is that your fans were a pleasure to have, and that all of you are a credit to your club. Good luck tomoro night, will tune into your live updates, and look forward to your play off final on saturday.  ;D

Seeingbetter: We are also getting used to play on this pitch, our manager 0f 33 yrs Roly Howard said it was our 11th man, and he wasnt right, the pitch was hard and defunct of grass, not so now tho', didnt win nothin then, in 2005  the club changed manager, and thats when the club got in a professional ground maintenence team under Alvin McDonald, I believe McDonald refused to play on a sub standard pitch having been used to the facilities of Vauxahll Motors, and was not prepared to risk injuries to his players. Is a lot better than Guiesleys that we won on last week so dont blame the skill if they havent the tools - soo soory mate you were a tad out classed today the same result would have happend if we were playin on the beach!!!! Good luck tuesday hope you get the result you deserve on tuesday  ;)

What happened to you!! Was confident it would be a walk in the park for you today! Dont know what it was, was it nerves? You looked very disjointed, my opinion that was you were trying too hard, therefore, not totally concentrating on what was going on. Think your managers need to tell the players to relax, enjoy the game, get your result, and let your footballing skills do the talking, if you had done that today you would have got it. We were nowhere near our best, couldnt finish, thought our back 4 were woeful, and full credit to our keeper tho' game got very scrappy in extra time, your penalty appeal was way off the mark, and I am just judging this from a neutral point of view as we had nothing to play for. Good luck tuesday, will watch for your result and make me happy! ;)

Tamara, there is loads to do. In Crosby we have a great walk along the beach if weather prevails! with the display of "Another Place" by Anthony Gormley Iron Men Statues. Short by car/merseyrail into Liverpool City Centre, can recomend the Albert Dock, loads of stuff going on there every weekend,  Liverpool One, Pier Head to get a ferry across the Mersey, there are also the Duck Tours, around the city centre ending up literally in the River Mersey, but think you might have to book that one, liverpool Museaum and Art Gallery in William Brown St., City Centre. In the other direction, there is Southport, a typical British seaside town, which has a large park called Hesketh Park, ducks, avery, all sorts of kids attractions, dont know if the Funfair is open just yet worth checking out.  Feel like a tourist guide!! Hope it helps. Let me know how you enjoyed yourselves.

Jimmystars, the parking is all along the waterfront in designated areas from Seaforth to Blundellsands coastguard station. The carpark at the Leisure centre is free all day you can park in all the surrounding roads as well unlimited, think this is probably your best bet mate.

However, there is parking in Brook Road East about 100yrds before you get to the ground. It is free from double yellows, and a bit nearer than the seafront.  Brook Road East is the second left after the Park on College Road. If you pass the petrol station on the left you have gone past it.  ;)
