The B-Ark / Re: New shirts

Home, away and third shirts are all new this season

Just judging from the online shop I think the blue is being used as the third kit. Which would make sense as most of the time kits are used for 2 seasons.

Will be interesting to see if Shaun Pearson gets retained at Grimsby.
Depends on the game this weekend, but he's not been playing much

He is under contract at Grimsby for next season but he only had a bit-part role looking at the stats. I wonder how much football he's going to get in League 2.

In terms of former goal keepers both Ross Fitzsimmons and James McKeown are both now free agents…

Oh dear, another defeat on the road, seems like we haven't had an away run like this since the FL days.

I don't think David Newton will sack Craig Elliott any time soon but if I was him I would be asking some questions such as:

What is our style of play? Because at the moment we don't really have one, not only do we not create chances we also can't defend for toffee.

Is Craig good enough to not only take us to promotion but also hold our own in the NL? I really like Craig myself and he's done a good job up until this season, but I think it's starting to become clear that last full season was the high water mark for him and he's taken the club as far as he can. Also if he does go he leaves the club and team in a far better position than when he found it.

I would hate to start seeing a negative atmosphere around our brilliant new stadium, and Newton and co deserve every bit of support through the turnstiles. But as things stand we have not been good enough this season and I've lost faith that the current managerial team have it in them to turn this ship around.

I know people have been saying Culverhouse and Bazza but they aren't available at the moment. They are however struggling in the league above (lost 6-2 today) and sounds like their delightful chairman has pulled the rug out and moved on most of the best players there, so will they be up for a new challenge? Interesting one.

I knew tickets were pricey but £26 for non-league football and those facilities? If you’re pushing for promotion to the football league then you could justify it but when you’re struggling you’re not exactly appealing to the floating fans.

Kabby Tshimanga signs for Notts County. Probably a decent fee involved.

All the worst parts of English football were on full display yesterday. Vandalism, hooliganism, anti-social behaviour and racism. Have seen some of the videos of the fighting and issues caused by the ticketless fans which forced their way into the stadium, looked like more police were at a League 2 match.

Sounds like a horrible atmosphere in and around Wembley, must have been awful for families or fans who had drunk yobs in their seats and were unable to do anything about it.

Would expect he will be attracting interest from the full time National League clubs, but I’d hope we will be at least making an offer to get him back.

I never expected that the proposed mini-league would go ahead but seeing as the National League is a team short I was hoping that common sense would prevail and allow the top 8 of each league to participate in a competition if they wanted to.

Could have been like the previous Euro format, 4 groups of 4 (regionalised to avoid travel) and the QF’s onwards with the winner taking the vacant NL spot. Would have generated a bit of interest and some steaming income for the clubs.

Instead the NL will run a team short which will cost the teams money as it’s one less game and hate receipts.
