Surprised Stainfield is starting. Saw him out in Nottingham last night at 2am. Hardly great preparation for the match. No wonder people are saying he lacks match fitness!

If you can say for certain it was him then perhaps you should e-mail the club. The last thing we want are players thinkng it's OK to out boozing the night before games that are becoming increasingly more important.

I put a few comments on united live, but they didn't get through, so Craig must have read it. Didn't see a drink in his hand, but going out anyway can't help, especially when having to leave early for an away game. If it wasn't him then i'll hold my hand up and say I was wrong, but it looked exactly like him and with his facebook saying he lives in Nottingham.

A beer or two the night before a game goes down a treat too.

Got to go i'm afraid. As much as they're likeable, it's just not working.

Unless he has a brother who lives in Nottingham then I may be wrong, 99% sure it was him though.

While some come on here and like myself disagree with noughty forties at times I object to his support being questioned in any way by some posters.
Many know of his work and contributions to the club over the years which puts most of us to shame .
What pleases me most about Andy is that I stand behind him on the Spayne terrace and never does he shout abuse at any players .   and conducts his moans through the Patter.
If we all follow his example YS would be a much better experiance on match days for players as well as supporters.

Good post that. I don't agree with most of the moans, but everyone is due their own opinion. Great result today as well, didn't see it coming after Tuesday night!

If my information is correct, SWD has signed for QPR.

DJ Campbell has signed for QPR, i'm guessing that this is a joke that they apparently look similar?

Played really well last night, as did Milnes. Hope we sign both.

Plus not everyone pays a standard rate of £11. Take into account season ticket sales which lower the average price of going to a game. Also concessions are £7/8 I think and U16's are £4. The income over a season from ticket sales will probably be around £200,000-£250,0000 at a guess. There are so many other costs that football clubs have to fork out, it's a surprise that we're even planning to break even or to make a profit, obviously this should be the aim though. Travelling expenses alone could easily cost us £20k or so.

I seem to recall Dudfield got the same reaction as JJ, and look what happened. He turned out to be pretty decent. It wasn't that long ago that we sold JJ for £100k or whatever it was, he's a local lad so will surely give it his all and you never know it might turn out to be a great signing.

Haven't seen Stones yet, but the amount of criticism we got last season to not giving reserve team players a try, now we are, again we're getting more criticism. It's a catch 22 situation.

Parker, whenever fit has turned out to be a good versatile player. Something we'll need to cover injuries. Still, Suarez and Newsh would be my first choice, but JJ and Stones wouldn't be that bad to bring on from the bench.

Just shows you the way british football is going. Wes Brown been at manchester united 20 years, as loyal as you can get and being replaced by younger portugeuse players who probably cant speak the language. Well done Sunderland, great signings!
Brown is being replaced by Phil Jones, an England U21 regular...

Chris Smalling too.

2) It is obvious he sees us as a stepping stone to getting back into the pro ranks, if he does prove to be a young emerging talent he'll be off within a season or 2.

But wouldn't every young player at this level try and use their current clubs as stepping stones for pro clubs? Nothing wrong with having some ambition.
